I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire family who owns Villa Selmani. During my trip to Albania, I unfortunately developed a severe throat infection — what started as mild discomfort turned into inflamed, purulent tonsils. I arrived in terrible pain and barely able to function. The family took wonderful care of me. For the first two days they arranged transportation wherever we needed to go, and most importantly, they personally took me to a medical center and waited with me for two hours until I received my first IV treatment. They were incredibly kind and did everything they could to help. Their human approach deserves a sincere thank you and a full 10/10. As for the accommodation itself — my husband and I chose a strategy of staying a bit farther from the center in a more affordable place and using the saved money to rent a scooter (which we would have rented even if we stayed near the beaches). This turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We had amazing experiences riding around, and I recommend a scooter a thousand times more than a car. The roads are crowded with cars, and with the scooter we were able to get out of every traffic jam quickly. The price-to-quality ratio was excellent. We stayed in the lower apartment, similar in size to a studio, and it had everything we needed. We truly felt at home, and I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Selmani to everyone.
