Astoria by Astoria Collection- All Inclusive & Private Beach Club

The location was perfect, very close to the beach and all shops and supermarkets! The hotel room was very clean and well maintained. Staff at the reception were extremely kind and helpful, going beyond and above their duties to help, even preparing us late meal, as we arrived after dinner time ended. The room was even bigger than we expected with beautiful views to the sea and a hotel nearby. My family loved staying in hotel Astoria and will definitely want to come again!

The dishes in the restaurant were not always very clean, quite often you will take a glass and it will have a signs of lipstick from a previous user. They need to improve on that, obviously their dishwashers are not doing a good job. It was also a bit disappointing that the hotel mentioned that there is Spa, but when we went there on the rainy day, they told us the spa only works in the winter, which was a bit misleading. I would also mention that the beds and pillows were not very comfortable, i.e. being too hard and tough.

Good location, close to the beach and tourist attractions. Lots of people, lively in the evening. Food was ok. Beach was ok, we just happened to arrive when there were big waves and we were not allowed to swim for a couple of days.

The room wasn't good. We paid extra for a room with a seaside view and we got a room on the first floor on the side of the hotel with a full view of the car park and a little bit of the sea. Way below the standard of the room from last year. The bathroom ventilation was not working when we checked in, so I notified staff at the reception. We checked it together and confirmed it wasn't working, and they said someone would fix it. One week later, the problem wasn't solved, and we left disappointed. The food was ok. The main restaurant felt very crowded in the afternoon, as if there were way too many people than the restaurant could manage at a time. It's hard to find a place to sit and eat, especially if you are with more than 3 or 4 people.
