Sofia Hotel - All Inclusive & Private Beach

Private beach close enough with beach bar. Friendly staff. Nice room. Easy acces to the center

Comparing with previous years in which I came to this hotel, I would say that services have decreased. Food: The variety for the food has decreased, even the quality for some of them (e.g. fruits jam at breakfast, snack bar, desserts, found a rotten peach, uncooked chicken, expired sauce/it was splitting into oil and the rest of it). The kids menu was not available at all. Cleaning: First day of cleaning, they didn't change the towels, even if we've let them on the ground as instructed for changing. Second day, they didn't even enter the room, and we've seen the cleaning staff at pur floor, a few rooms away from ours (trash bin still full, towels not changed etc.) We had to ask at reception for someone to be sent to our room. The elevators should be changed, they don't work good at all, and one of them was not working on our floor. My biggest disappointment comes from the fact that I know how the hotel used to be a few years ago (from 2017 till 2021) and that now it's not worthy of its 4 stars anymore

The mattresses on the beds were absolutely excellent, I was sad to return home to my own.

The accommodation offers very good value in terms of space, comfort and tranquillity. Although the booking was for three people, we were allocated a very spacious two‑bedroom apartment, with two extremely large joined beds in each room – easily accommodating up to six people. The apartment had two bathrooms, which was very convenient, and a stunning sea view. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, perfect for relaxation. We stayed on an all‑inclusive basis. The food is not outstanding, especially at breakfast, where the selection is rather limited, but it is acceptable. Lunch and dinner were also decent – nothing exceptional, but sufficient for a short stay. Overall, the hotel is a good choice if you are looking for space, peace and a beautiful sea view.

The drinks at the bar are quite limited and rather basic, with not many options available. The selection feels somewhat poor, and the overall bar experience could definitely be improved. Hiring more experienced bartenders would make a noticeable difference.
