Meliá Grand Hermitage All Inclusive

The facilities are more enough, the entertainment and animation teams were brilliant, the restaurants staff were amazing specially in the Italian restaurant, the swimming pools were fantastic with variety of activities, the beach location was great with all the services and facilities, receptionists were amazing with fast check in and out and arranging for transportation

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Melia Grand Hermitage. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent with a wide variety of options every day. There were also plenty of activities for children, and our kids had a great time.

The only small disappointment was the indoor pool. We had assumed it would be heated, especially since we were visiting at the end of May, but the water was colder than we expected and not very comfortable for our young children. This was our own expectation rather than a fault of the hotel, but we wanted to mention it so that other families visiting during the cooler months know what to expect. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the hotel to families.

I had an amazing time at Hotel Melia Hermitage Grand, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! Everything was superb, from the moment I checked in until the day I left. Service & Staff: A 10/10 team! Every single staff member was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to detail. They truly make you feel like a valued guest and are always ready to help with a warm smile. The Room: Absolutely gorgeous, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The cleanliness was spotless (it’s clear they prioritize hygiene), and the bed was incredibly comfortable—I got some of the best sleep ever. The Food: A real culinary delight! Facilities & Vibe: The overall atmosphere of the hotel is both relaxing and elegant. The lounge and pool areas are excellently maintained and serve as the perfect spots to unwind. The bottom line? Hotel Melia offers that rare blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality. It’s excellent value for money and I will definitely return here at the very next opportunity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect, hassle-free stay!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

We are a family of three based in Dubai. We have extensive traveling experience from almost 150 countries and territories. It was our third time in Bulgaria. Melia was the second to last stop on a long road trip through Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria. We were there to relax and not explore. When selecting Melia there are some parameters you have to accept. This hotel complex is massive with hundreds of rooms. The beach is shared with thousands and thousands of others along a beach mile with massive overdevelopment at the lower end. One big plus is that the beach is sandy, the water is shallow, and the sandy water bottom is easy to walk on (not rocky at at all so typical for many other places in Europe). At the same time, the hotel works like a cruiseship. If you want to escape some of the issues related to over-crowding, The Level upgrade works well. The lounge is a big minus (no reason to go there). Although small and shallow, The Level pool (btw there was an ugly fall at the pool, a woman and her baby, but it took a long while before the lifeguard discovered this and other guests stepped in before him), the garden area and its services is a great feature in an otherwise crazy environment. The mini-bar in our room had a very limited selection of free items (why even the tiny juice is payable is beyond me and no zero sugar options to choose from). The food at C level was by and large excellent (except for the first day of our stay). Checking in and out with The Level was a pleasant breeze. The indoor pool is one of the best we have seen around the world (but the lifeguard on duty looked suspiciously old and frail + he was not always there and most of the time looked at the phone). When we arrived, the hotel parking, and the large payable overflow parking, were completely full. This is not good. Maybe there should have been a possibility for valet parking with a nearby facility in agreement with the hotel?
