Informationen vid ankomst och karta över området saknades helt. Hotellet är speciellt med olika öppettider för restauranger, en linbana ner till stranden och en tokig handuksinlämning någon våning ner från poolen öppen bara någon timme per dag - istället för att som på andra hotell byta handdukar vid poolen. Info om transporter till Korfu stad hade varit trevlig Det hade behövts en informationspärm på rummet med telefonnummer, hotellbeskrivning och information.

(2/5) - Overpriced and Not a True 5-Star Experience

The hotel offered lovely views, we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, the reception team were professional and welcoming, and the car rental company was reliable and easy to deal with.

We recently stayed here for 10 days and unfortunately, it was not the luxury experience we expected. The hotel itself is quite basic, with only a small pool area and a bar constantly surrounded by wasps. The way they “manage” them is by leaving plates of salmon around the property - which honestly makes things worse. Poolside service is infrequent, and the menu is very limited. The food is almost inedible and served on a plastic trolley that feels more like a school canteen than a resort. The buffet isn’t much better - we only managed breakfast three times and dinner twice during our stay (mainly because bad weather kept us at the hotel). While the hotel offers lovely views, it’s located in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go anywhere, be prepared to pay premium prices for taxis - around €50 for a short 10-minute journey booked through the hotel, or €39 via Uber, as taxis come from Corfu Old Town. The spa was disappointing - dirty and underwhelming. As the hotel is built into a cliff, rooms are scattered below the main areas, and it can take 5-15 minutes to walk to your room. The buggy service takes ages to arrive, and in bad weather, it doesn’t run at all. Staff then use an old car (which looked like it belonged to one of them) to transport guests up and down. There’s just one pizza restaurant within walking distance and a beach accessible by a very slow lift that fits only 10 people. There are two tavernas at the beach, but the food isn’t great. The beach itself is fine, but there are far better ones around Corfu. We ended up renting a car for most of our stay - which I highly recommend. It completely changed our experience, as we spent our days exploring different beaches and restaurants around the island, which is absolutely beautiful. Overall, while Corfu itself is stunning, this hotel doesn’t live up to its 5-star rating. It’s overpriced for what it offers and needs serious improvements in service, food quality, and cleanliness before it can justify

I liked the staff, the room which had an incredible view, the facilities at hotel were great, the breakfast is rich, the transport that the hotel supplies to the beach and back.

Relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. Car needed.

We had a wonderful time at Atlantica Grand! The staff are wonderful and everything is run seamlessly. Breakfast was fab and included plenty of options for my friend who is vegan. You can also switch to have all-inclusive days (rather than the whole trip) which was great to have the flexibility. The location is stunning and is perfect for a peaceful retreat. Beautiful views and all very chilled being adults only. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained.

The cocktails were average but expensive. Taxis booked from the hotel reception were overpriced compared with ones booked in town or uber. Similarly, the massages and boat trips organised by the hotel were overpriced. We found much better options elsewhere. Because the hotel is quite remote, it felt as though we were a captive audience paying a premium for any extras. In the end, we rented a car to give us access to the outside/more affordable options.

Expect the outdoor pool the hotel not worth it!!

The facility isn’t clean and this is far away from being 5 star level. We got a different room, and just after a long discussion at 8 PM we finally got the right one. Also we asked for compensation, that required us to argue with the staff and only after several time they give us lunch and a late check-out. Shame.

Loistava hotelli upealla sijainnilla ja hyvällä palvelulla

Hotelli oli aivan upealla paikalla ja maisemat olivat henkeäsalpaavat! Itse hotelli oli hyvässä kunnossa, siisti ja sieltä löytyi palvelut joka lähtöön. Henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta ja meille hankittiin esimerkiksi lisävuode huoneeseen pyytäessä. Isolla alueella sai golfkärryllä kuljetuksen soittamalla respaan. Aamias-, lounas- ja illallisbuffetit olivat todella laajat ja valikoimaa riitti. Ruoka oli hyvää, ei kuitenkaan mitenkään ensiluokkaisen hyvää. All inclusive oli kohtuuhintainen ja sisälsi mukavasti vaihtoehtoja. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja hyvässä kunnossa, parvekkeelta ihanat näkymät merelle ja vuorille. Tunnelma hotellissa oli rauhallinen ja hyvä, ei turhaa musiikkia tai remuamista. Hotellin yksityinen ranta oli ihana!

Eräänä aamuna pyysimme aamupalan buffetin sijaan huoneeseen. Se tuli 45 minuuttia myöhässä ja oli hieman pettymys.

Minor minor point - The gym could do with some more investment like more heavier free weights, Olympic bars for bench press and more machines. This would make it a top five star hotel.

Goed verblijf maar geen 5 sterren waard

De kamer was prachtig en het personeel die altijd ter beschikking staat om je naar de kamer te brengen. Het buffet is volledig in orde!! Grote aanrader: Vertigo restaurant!!!!! Beste eten van heel het hotel.

Onze kamer was niet volledig proper: stof in bad en zo'n 8 haren die samen tegen de muur kleefde van de douche. Wanneer we dit zeiden ging ze er iets aan doen maar jammer genoeg zijn we 4x naar het onthaal moeten gaan. Toen we later de kuisvrouw tegen kwamen vroeg ze of ik zwanger was. Zoiets vraag je niet, ik ben ook niet zo alsof het lijkt dat ik 6-8 maand zwanger ben. Het onthaal heeft uiteindelijk wel goed gehandeld en gaven ons een mooie compensatie. De drankjes zijn jammer genoeg allemaal van een tap. Cola is geen echte cola maar gesuikerd water met amper prik in. De cocktails die je kan krijgen zijn niet geweldig. 6 jaar geleden waar alle cocktails inbegrepen en nu moet je bij betalen voor de lekkerste cocktails. Jammer, want we betalen heel veel geld om er te verblijven. Verder is het ook ergens jammer dat het hotel overspoeld is door Britse toeristen. Het is opgevallen dat de meesten houden van schaduw. Een plek vinden waar je niet in de schaduw ligt door een parasol van een andere is zeer moeilijk. Wij zijn zonnekloppers en het was dus niet fijn dat er zoveel parasols waren. Misschien een zone maken waar mensen wel kunnen bruinen? Voor ons was het hotel dus zeker geen 5 sterren waard maar eerder 4.

It's all very well thought out, lots of staff to help and very friendly team. Lots of places to eat and drink on site. Room was very comfortable even just with a land view room the balcony was great.

צוות אדיב ומסביר פנים , קבלת פנים חמה ונעימה, חדרים גדולים ומרווחים, מכונת קפה בחדר, בריכה נעימה, מופע נחמד מדי ערב, ארוחת בוקר טוב טעימה ומגוונת.

חדרים מיושנים, ריהוט ישן ואינו מודרני לימים אלו, ארוחת צהריים דלה ביחס למחיר (28 יורו לאדם), לא ניתן למסור מגבות לאחר שימוש בבריכה עד לשעה 17:00, בר ברמה נמוכה מאד- מורגש זלזול או חוסר מקצועיות בהכנת קוקטיילים, התנהגות צוות הבר מזלזלת ולא מסבירה פנים כמו בשאר חלקי המלון. זמן רב של המתנה להגעת הקרונית שמורידה לחוף הים או מחזירה מחוף הים למלון. פקיד הקבלה עלב בנו מאד במעמד הצ׳ק אאוט כששאל אותנו מדוע לא נתנו בכלל טיפים לצוות המלון, עובדה שלכשעצמה אינה נכונה . יש הרבה נמלים וחרקים מחוץ לחדרים . חדרים 579,578. הרבה דבורים מגיעות לאוכל בחדר אוכל וכן על חוף הים, הבת שלי נעקצה באופן קשה מדבורה. יש לפעול לריסוס האזורים.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, poor food quality

Beautiful hotel, the rooms are spread out so there's little risk of noise. You can stay at the pool which has a great view or lie on the free beds by the beach. The beach is quite nice, a bit colder than other parts of the island but with a great view. The sunset looks beautiful from the rooms. There are caddies that bring you up and down the hill (the reception and most amenities are on top) and a funicular that brings you to the beach. All staff were super kind and helpful.

The food was the major disappointment. It was really not great. The breakfast was weak. We only had dinner at the hotel once and it was poor quality. We also had one lunch meal and that was also disappointing. But if you have a car there are a couple of cheap and good restaurants 10 to 15 min away. So I would recommend not doing the all-inclusive.

It’s an OKAY choice but do not hold your breath

Cable car is unexpected fun, despite its slow pace. The beach under hotel is not strictly private but it’s hard to be accessed, which makes a simple snorkeling be a wonderful experience. Breakfast is good, plenty of choices. In hotel lobby, there are some agencies to arrange an island trip or renting a car in the lobby, prices are reasonable. And night shows at the pool bar are good relaxing moments too.

There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, but all closed at 6pm! The sunset is around 9pm, which makes guests have no chance to admire the view in the pool as their ads showing! It makes no sense! And because its location, it’s hard to find a taxi by Uber or Freenow, you have pay extra to get help by the hotel.

Esperienza deludente

Abbiamo apprezzato la posizione della struttura (accesso alla spiaggia) e la piscina.

In generale non si ha l’impressione di essere in una struttura a cinque stelle. Abbiamo avuto alcuni problemi fin dall’inizio, tra cui forte puzza di fogna e formiche nella prima stanza che ci è stata assegnata. Dopo varie lamentele alla reception, siamo stati spostati in una nuova stanza che non aveva questi problemi e aveva una vista molto bella. In generale, il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto deludente.

Meraviglia romantica

posizionato al lato della collina rocciosa questo resort t fa dimenticare dove ti trovi, un posto magico raggiungibile comodamente con la macchina. uno stile moderno ma con molto calore che ti fa sentire a casa, camere ben tenute e pulite, il cibo veramente di qualità ha soddisfatto i nostri palati. personale sempre disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta. La spiaggia bellissima si raggiunge tramite un ascensore panoramico,se non si vuole faticare troppo, per i piu atletici invece consiglio di scendere e salire dalle scalinate, faticoso (forse) ma il paesaggio ne vale la pena.

Quiet getaway, amazing views, tailored to brits

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The views from both the beach and the pool were amazing. It was peaceful in both areas, allowing us to read without distractions. The staff was friendly, helpful and cheerful for the most part. The food at the restaurants that require reservations was excellent! We truly managed to relax and recharge during our time here.

The buffet food heavily caters to British tourists, which can be disappointing for those who are not from the UK. Although there are enough lounge chairs available, many people "reserve" the best-view chairs before heading to breakfast and sometimes only return by noon. Unfortunately, nothing seems to be done about this issue. The pool and beach bar close at 6 PM during the summer, which is frustrating since that’s typically when you want to enjoy them, especially as the UV index drops from a solid 10 during the day. It’s unclear why they close so early, aside from wanting guests to go to dinner at 6 PM. We wish we had known about this in advance. They have an app, but I honestly wish they didn’t; it’s the worst app I have ever used :)

Adult only relaxation holiday by the sea.

Beautiful location. Loved the roof top terrace with pool, bars, restaurants and stunning sunset views every day . Air con throughout . Very attentive kind staff , especially the room attendants, the dining room staff and the bar staff . The White Pearl beachfront restaurant was fabulous 🥰 Lovely walk down through trees along the drive to the beach . Welcomed buggy rides always on hand for the upward steep journey back to our room. Plentiful varied breakfasts. Restaurant staff very welcoming at each meal time, showed us to our tables , and quickly brought us water and drinks. All with a smile. Crystal clear sea, loved our day out with a small motor boat, exploring the coast . Beautiful area to explore by car. Especially loved the Angelocastra Byzantine castle with cliff top restaurant, and the sandy Glyfada beach. Paleocastritsa was also worth visiting , plenty of tavernas there and several beaches to explore and swim from.

Unable to book a table in Vertigo Restaurant. All the other customers I met also were unable to get a table there throughout the week !! No relaxation lounge in the Spa : had to sit in the busy small spa reception area whilst awaiting a massage , with several couples passing by my feet to take a shower before their homeward flights, or to exchange towels . Then nowhere to relax with a glass of water afterwards. A relaxation room is definitely needed here . Hotel room and balcony were spacious enough, plenty of wardrobe space , large comfortable bed, but bathroom needed a refurb. Often had sewage smells .

Pequeno-almoço era soberbo, com grande variedade de opções! O quarto era bastante acolhedor, com uma cama muito confortável e uma vista incrível! O staff era muito simpático e bastante atencioso!

O horário da piscina era bastante limitativo, com o fecho bastante cedo, o que impediu de tirar mais partido da mesma. Os preços dos restaurantes do hotel eram um pouco elevados, contudo, existem várias opções nos arredores do alojamento.

All inclusive alkol seçenekleri çok kısıtlıydı, fıçı bira çok gazlıydı. Şaraplar düşük kaliteydi. Beach bar çok erken kapanıyordu. Çok güzel manzaralı sakin bir beach var ama 17.30da kapanması çok saçma. O saatten sonra tek seçenek bir havuzun etrafındaki masalar :( sahile inen füniküler aşırı aşırı yavaş

Séjour confortable, détendant, dans un cadre somptueux

Petit-déjeuner extrêmement varié et fourni. La vue de la chambre était fantastique, ainsi que celle de la terrasse de la piscine. Nous avons apprécié la discrétion de l'hôtel dans le paysage et tous les efforts réalisés pour que le site soit préservé. Le buffet du soir est délicieux, le personnel au petits soins. L'ambiance est calme, les gens bien élevés (très peu de sonneries de téléphone et de discussions bruyantes), et le dress code appréciable. Super concert de jazz le soir. Dosettes de café disponibles dans la chambre. Plage super propre et calme; transat et parasol très appréciés ! Possibilité de louer un kayak à deux.

A notre arrivée, le frigidaire ne fonctionnait pas ainsi que la clim (dommage quand il fait 35°). Un des concerts était trop bruyant : impossible de s'entendre parler si l'on voulait dîner sur la terrasse. Téléférique appréciable, mais hyper lent. Horaires de la piscine un peu courts : 10h-18h.

Tolle gelegenes Hotel mit Einschränkungen

- Wunderschöne Lage und Ausblick. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind wirklich der Hammer! - Das Personal war immer super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dank dem sehr aufmerksamen “Strandliegen-Beauftragten” kann man mit etwas Glück auch nach dem Frühstück noch eine Liege am Strand erwischen. - Die Hotelanlage ist wirklich riesig und die Seilbahn, die den Strand mit den Zimmern und der restlichen Anlage verbindet ist eine super Idee, allerdings muss man auf diese sehr sehr lange warten (oftmals in der prallen Sonne). Wir sind daher viel gelaufen, was sehr viele Treppen bedeutet. Wir hatten am nächsten Tag beide Muskelkater, aber wenigstens haben wir uns dadurch sportlich betätigt 😅 Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit einen Fahrer zu rufen, der einen von A nach B bringt, aber auch auf den muss man mitunter lange warten. Wer es gerne klein und übersichtlich mag ist hier falsch! - Die Cocktails an der Bar waren sehr lecker.

- Die Anlage ist in vielen Bereichen deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und bereits kleine Investitionen würden diesen Eindruck deutlich verbessern (z.B. neue Restaurantmöbel und -polster) - Das Essen war bestenfalls mäßig… es ist schwer mehr von so einem großen Hotel zu erwarten, aber wir waren trotzdem etwas enttäuscht, weil echt vieles nicht geschmeckt hat. - Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern hat leider auch sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Wir haben Verständnis, das das Reinigungspersonal in der Hauptsaison unter Hochdruck arbeitet, aber das hat man leider auch sehr gemerkt und vieles wurde einfach nur oberflächlich gereinigt. - Eine kleine Kritik an unseren Mitgästen: Uns ist bewusst, dass wir zur Hauptsaison (Anfang Juli) da waren, aber dennoch ist es immer wieder schade, dass nichts gegen die Liegenreservierei getan wird. Man muss Glück haben nach dem Frühstück sowohl am Pool als auch am Meer eine Liege zu bekommen, weil die Hälfte bereits reserviert ist. Es gibt mittlerweile Hotels die da konsequenter durchgreifen und die Handtücher entfernen. - Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mäßig.

Ein schöner Urlaub

Schöne Zimmer mit tollem Meerblick. Zimmer mit kleinem Pool empfehlenswert. Sehr freundliches Personal, besonders beim Frühstück sehr zuvorkommend und bester Kaffee. Wer nicht nur im Hotel bleiben möchte, sollte ein Auto mieten, da ringsherum nichts ist. Es gibt eine Bahn zum Strand und auch jeder Zeit Shuttles, aber man sollte trotzdem gut zu Fuß sein.

i asked for a room in the main building. ended up close but still difficult to reach by walk and needed to wait for a golf car
