Exceptional concept, comfort and customer service has space for improvement

Beautiful concept, really exceptional, like beeing in a botanical garden, tranquil see with shallow waters, plenty sunbeds at the beach, large spacious room, waterpark set in nature and greenery, which was very refrrshing. Plemty of refreshment stations, late checkout (for extra fee) was possible. Moskyto nets and antimoskito pluh ins in the rooms, sprays in restaurants available

Been to Grecotel before and foodd in this one was disappointment, very dull and average. What was nice was plenty of fruits. Worst thing though was that rooms doors were not soundproof, master bedroom had the main door in it and we got woken up each night several times as people were walking pass our room. This itself would be a reason not to come back as significantly impacted the comfort ot our stay. Also some staff were really nice but there were few almost arrogant, especially one younger probably manager who was seating people in main restauratnt. Tis shouldn’t be happening in a place like Grecitel where one has high expectations of the customer service. And- moskytos outdoors after sunset were sometimes unbearable, even when sprayed, but that’s aproblem in Corfu probably everywhere.

Relaxing and pampered holiday.

It is a beautiful area. My sister and I had 2 bedroom garden veranda apartment. It gave us easy access to the summer house swimming pool. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lots of choice of food to eat and places to go. We liked the beach bar and view of the sea.

The Perfect Getaway!

This hotel was amazing! The meals were excellent, the staff very kind, and there were so many activities. It’s a beautiful, spacious, and well-kept place with great rooms. Located right on the beach with wonderful evening shows - we didn’t want to leave!

The perfect vacation.

Mostly the variety of swimming pools, especially the pool near the country house. The aquapark ,the different restaurants, the tasty food and variety, the gardens, the coffee, the beach area, flowers, zoo- Everything 😀, the evening shows, the large space in the complex.

The massive attack of moscitos was awful . This happened every day.

Great place to stay

The place is beautiful, staff is friendly, is a city in an hotel, we had a lot of fun and also relaxed a lot. Is great for families, couples, friends, the place is so big and has so many places to be that is suitable for all.

We booked two restaurants and would say I would prefer to have stayed at the buffet restaurant. The traditional restaurant didn't have reservations for the days we were there so they recommended a restaurant outside of the hotel. We decided to go and were a bit disappointed, the dishes served were not traditional and was not worth it. The other one we tried was the Botanical Fine Dining, the food was not bad, but this restaurant is open air which means mid-meal we were hit by a wave of mosquitos and we couldn't finish the meal. Is not the hotel's fault but was not nice. Maybe change the Fine Dining to other place, maybe closed space. Also the staff was too much, we had 4 people there just surrounding our table, filling our glasses every time we took a sip, which was very inconvenient. For the room, only thing I didn't like was the AC being too noisy and beds could be more comfortable.

The grounds are very pretty.

The food was bad. The buffet experience was grim with long queues and wasps and mosquitos everywhere. My allocated room had a view of a car park with road noise.

We loved it!

The hotel is superb and highly recommended. Our kids (6, 10, 13) loved the water park, and pools. Food was great and the staff nice and helpful

Disappointing trip with our family for my birthday.

It was very large and had good variety of pools and the water park was great for the kids. The staff were also excellent and I couldn’t fault them.

There’s a lot that I had issues with. But mainly it was the cleanliness, the cost of the holiday and the basic rooms that we had. I’ve never stayed in a 5* resort that was so dated and so basic. The rooms were large but again - the pillows and sheets and everything in the rooms could have been better. Additionally, the cleaners didn’t clean the floors at any point and they were filthy when we got to our rooms. I asked twice while there for the 7 days and it still didn’t happen. I was so disappointed. The mosquitoes are also a massive issue. I’ve never stayed anywhere that was so so so overrun by mozzies and wasps. They don’t spray the resort with any pesticides so that’s why there’s an insane amount. Even with spray, and precautions we were all still bitten. It was definitely not great to stay out at night and we didn’t stay out after dusk.

It was good.

The location, the staff, the hotel facilities and the food. The water park was great for the kids.

To get into the sea you had to walk (2-3m) over a flat large slipery rock inside the sea that extended on almost all the length of the beach. Be aware of the mosquitos.

Amazing !!

The food was amazing and swimming pool and aqua parks. Staff were super helpful and accommodating. We had a problem with the room booking, but the reception helped resolve it.

The Kids club wasn’t as prepared as previous years. I am not sure if the program hasn’t started yet when I was there.

Very hard to register for alacarte restaurant, although they are not crowded at all! A lot of families with small children, very noisy for those who came without children🙂 The rooms are not soundproofing at all!!

Do not recommend

Location, some staff.

The entire resort does not match the advertised 5-star luxury experience and instead resembles a dated 4-star property at best with 3-star food. The 'restaurants' are just outdoor dining spaces and considering the volume of mosquitoes it was unbearable to eat there in the evenings. The buffet food selection is poor and rotation in very limited. The presentable side of the resort includes reception, spa and gym. The rest sits firmly in the 90s with tired, damaged furniture.

Great place for families.

Nice big family rooms. Clean and modern bedrooms and facilities. The property is huge so plenty of space for everyone. Had enough sun loungers for everyone. The aquapark was great fun for the family. Good daily buffet, lots of variety.

Air conditioning is difficult to control, no remote. Some small things but they can make a big difference in the experience - water pressure in the bath, shampoo and soap fixed to the wall( hard to wash little kids if you don’t get in with them in) etc… the restaurant in the evening was disappointing.

Great and want to come back but hoping for an even better stay next time

Breakfast and dinner is good and have a lot of variety. A lot of swimming pools to choose from and sun beds so it doesn't feel crowded at all. The rooms are spacious. The property is huge so it nice to have long walks. The aquapark is a hit too, if you have kids they will enjoy this place a lot. The front desks team are always polite and approachable. In general, most staffs are friendly.

The bed is a DISASTER. Every small move we make, it is squeaking loud. We had a 7 months old child and he always wake up because of the noise coming from the bed. Horrible. You seriously need to fix it. For reference, this is room 707. I would like to warn others that if someone approach you as "hotel photographer/partner" and offered FREE "Photo session", you have to PAY for the photos. We felt tricked since they did not mention it. But instead, immediately use the word FREE SESSION! I am sure this is not the first time they conveniently left the idea of explaining. If they explained well earlier, then we can think and decide whether to proceed or not. In the end, we have to buy photos because we used a lot of time just to have the photos and even cut our son's swimming time for it. This ruin our good feeling about our holiday. Lastly, one staff (bar in front of main restaurant) was very rude to my mother in law. She ordered Margarita. 1st drink- it was good. 2nd order, he mumbled a lot saying "Margarita again" and showed he is not happy making 2nd drink for her and made in very sweet.

We had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed moment of our stay. We highly recommend Costa Botanica for people of all ages.

Everything! The rooms were airy and bright , the beds were so comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean! The staff were amazing -always kind, helpful and they looked after us so well. The food was excellent with a wide variety of foods and something for everyone at each meal. The resort is huge with excellent facilities and a wide range of activities for all ages while also being relaxing and fun.
