Navigator Villas - Houses

A lovely villa, good facilities, great hosts, and a lovely restaurant with really good food. Close to the beach with lots of restaurant choices.

We loved the wrap around balcony on villa 1. Whatever side the sun was on we could sit in it or in the shade and we also had the garden which was great especially if you have kids. We had a couple of issues and they were resolved instantly. I messaged to say the electric had blown a fuse and within seconds the lady was there to sort it out. It was also handy having a washing machine. Also fly screens on the bedroom doors were a great added bonus. The beds were comfy. It’s a 5 minute walk to town which is just one street. It has everything you need supermarkets, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, holiday shops, chemists etc. there’s also a bus service and an office by the bus stop if you need help. We didn’t use the bus service but taxis are plentiful and very reasonable. The beach is stones but good. There’s several bars and a couple of shops on the beach. The restaurants don’t charge for use of sun loungers if you’re eating/drinking there. You can walk to Roda which takes about 30 minutes it’s a very small holiday town. The season starts 1st May. We were there before then and only a few places were open so it was nice and quiet. There’s lots of building going on between Archaravi and Roda it looks like a couple of big hotels but it didn’t affect us.

Don’t be deceived by the picture . The apartment facing the pool in the picture is not the villa you will be staying in. Navigator villas are a little way up the road (just a 2 minute walk, see pictures below). There’s another set of villas between navigator restaurant and navigator villas. There were just 2 of us staying in the villa which was fine. It would be very cramped with 4 or 5 adults in the villa. There’s not much room in the kitchen to prep food as all the surfaces are covered with equipment but you do have a table. There’s only the table or the day bed in the kitchen to sit inside but I guess you’ll mostly be outdoors. The beach is only a few feet to the sea and what you would expect to be a prom is a road so not ideal for kids. Also as the beach is very narrow (only the width of the road you’re very close to cars. It was quite busy but there were a lot of construction workers and decorators etc preparing for the season. I’m not sure how busy it would be in high season

The property was clean tidy and fresh in a fab location close to all amenities

Good location, quiet but near restaurants. Air conditioning and plenty of space in the room. The pool was good (attached to the restaurant so a short walk from the apartment).

Some maintenance required - squeaky bed, doors that creaked. They forgot to make up our room one day leaving us without towels - was fixed when we phoned but no apology for missing the service.
