I would be happy to return there again.

I particularly liked the owner. She is really very kind pleasant and helpful lady. I stayed for a period of 30 days and felt more homely than I would in a hotel.

Quiet, relaxing location with excellent, clean accommodation. Warm and friendly host. Easy walk to shops, bus and train; car parking at door. Generous breakfast. Would certainly come again!

There was no external lock on bedroom door. So room couldn’t be locked when I left the property during the day

A perfect few days rest.

I had a lovely few days at Old Mills Garden. Wendy looked after me very well and she is very warm and welcoming. She allows use of the microwave which is perfect if you are on your own and don't want to eat out alone. There is a lovely table to eat at with views onto the garden and surrounding fields. It is in a perfect position, walking distance into Elgin but equally on the outskirts on the edge of the countryside. There are many things to see and do in the area.

The house was clean, warm, quiet and comfortable. The host Wendy was very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful house in a quiet scenic location and just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Elgin. Perfect for my needs thank you.

A stay that was well worth the wait

Old Mills Garden was easy to find and I received a very warm welcome from Wendy. First impressions was of a beautiful house and gardens which was echoed by the quality of the interior. Wendy showed me to my room which was on the ground floor and we discussed breakfast arrangements. While not included in the rate Wendy provides cereals, milk, bread for toast, butter and jams which can be prepared and eaten in the kitchen / dining room. My room was spotlessly clean and comfy as was the bed and I got a four good nights sleep. The en-suite had all the essentials including, of course, a good shower. Old Mills Garden was for me perfectly located and, with the ability to come and go as I pleased, the perfect choice. This was the third attempt to stay here, the previous attempts being thwarted by Covid. It was well worth the wait and if I'm back this way again Old Mills Garden will be the number one choice.

Affordable, friendly and a fantastic garden.

Wendy was an excellent and incredibly friendly and welcoming host. The room was cosy and spacious, I didn't feel uncomfortable in her home, the garden and surrounding area was beautiful. Not much bad to say.

Pleasant

Great location. Nice views and lovely garden. Spacious room. Bathroom clean and fresh except bin not emptied from previous guest but I think this was just an oversight. Easy and flexible check in and check out process.

Bed not comfortable. Multiple woodlouse bugs in my room during my stay. I didn’t mind sorting my own breakfast but cereal choice limited and not very tasty, no option for fruit juice or toast in morning, breakfast could be done better while still keeping it limited.

A lovely comfortable and relaxing stay, with Wendy an excellent and friendly host.

The location was rural and quiet, with lovely well kept gardens. My double room and en-suite bathroom was spotless and had everything that I needed, with a great view of the garden. I had shared use of the kitchen, including a great choice of food and drink to make myself cereal and toast for breakfast. There are lovely walks nearby.
