It’s a quiet, no fuss place that does all the basics very well - beds, bathroom, parking. You need a car as it’s on the outskirts of Namur but with one, or taking the bus that stops nearly outside, you can be in the centre in minutes.

Location of the rooms quite difficult to reach, no airco or a fan and it was super hot, the mattresses were not confortable to sleep on, they are old, the rest ok

Good value for money for a one night stay on the road with good Chinese food to hand.

Off road private parking at a fairly busy restaurant that obviously does good trade. Friendly greeting, my French just good enough to understand and be understood. Given key and pointed in right direction. Chose biggest room with view off Booking.com and it was fine. Big bed, clean, kettle with tea and coffee, TV (only French language stations), good shower and loo. Busy road far enough away past parking not to be a problem. Nice aspect to river at the rear.

Steep stairs to climb with door at the top - could easily open and fall from top. Wardrobe and unit for tea making a bit tired but overall it was fine.

2023.08 my last night at the Jardin du The accommodation was very unpleasant. It was disappointing: dirty, like they never cleaned the room for some time, like only the sheets were changed. A lot of spiders under the bed an in the corners. The shower was dirty with a lot of hair, the toilet not well cleaned When we arrived around 9:30 p.m we were asked very quickly to pay for the room, and because we were in a hurry to get to historic center in Namur we only left ours luggage inside. All the mess we were able to see it when we unpacked, after 11 p.m when no one was around. I am sorry to say but it’s not ok to have this kind of accommodation on booking

Okay place for a night.

Very clean and easy to check in, even though wasn't that clear where the reception to check in was. It's basically a Chinese restaurant which has built an extension and stuck some rooms in it. Room was good though and good size, with a view over the garden

Dyrsfunctional check-in and getting to room involved some steep stairs (something to bare in mind if older or infirm Nothing around it and on a busy road, but easy to walk to city along river; it's about 2km

Good place to stay overnight on our journey towards Calais. Just off the motorway and easy to find.

Breakfast was not available at the hotel, but we were recommended to go to the Point Chaud a couple of minutes drive along the road where we had a very adequate breakfast. The Thai evening meal in the lovely restaurant was delicious and very good value.

The room and en-suite was rather basic, but perfectly fine for a one night stay. The room was at the back overlooking the river and very quiet.

The young owners are really pleasant and forthcoming - the hotel is also a Thai restaurant, which serves delicious food in appealing rooms and, when the weather allows it, in a beautiful garden. The hotel/restaurant is placed directly on the river and the bicycle route through Namur - it couldn´t have been better for me who came from the north on my bicycle.

Probably due to covid, breakfast was not possible, unfortunately, but it turned out that it actually suited me well, because then I had an excuse to enjoy breakfast on the waterfront of the town of the charming town of Dinant.

Correct pour une nuit, je déconseille un long séjour

Un grand parking est disponible gratuitement, le restaurant attenant à l'hôtel était très bon pour un prix abordable. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. La couette et les oreillers étaient très agréables.

Aucune isolation sonore malheureusement, j'entendais la télé de la chambre voisine, les passages dans le couloir et un monsieur qui a craché ses poumons toute la soirée (bon rétablissement à lui). Le matelas mériterait d'être changé, il s'affaisse au milieu ce qui est mauvais pour le dos. J'ai voulu prendre une douche vers 21h, je n'avais plus d'eau chaude, c'était tiède. La petite garde robe présente dans la chambre est pratique mais elle ne tient plus très bien, j'avais peur qu'elle s'effondre à tout moment.

Kamer was lekker ruim en schoon. Nog even gekletst met super-aardige schoonmaker.

Bed was groot, maar zo doorgezakt dat je net zo goed samen in een eenpersoonsbed zou kunnen gaan liggen. Slecht geslapen dus, ook omdat het gehorig is. Het is op zich rustig, maar blaffende hond, ruzieënde mensen, rondstampende bovenburen en gehorige gang hielden ons uit onze slaap. Jammer, want het heeft meer potentie.

La nuit du cauchemar

A part l'emplacement, je n'ai rien vu de positif pour cet hôtel. Je crois que j'ai eu droit à la pire des chambres de l'hôtel.

L'accueil était médiocre et glacial comme l'endroit. Pas de chauffage dans la chambre juste dans la salle de bain. La literie est pourrie. Deux lits simples reliés avec deux couches de matelas fines. Au total, il y a 3 matelas. La nuit a été très dure, moi et ma fille, nous nous retrouvions au milieu du lit toutes les deux. Il y avait 2 pentes sur les côtés et un trou au milieu du lit. Je suis une habituée de Booking. Je n'ai jamais vécu d'expérience aussi pénible que cet hôtel. Ils ne répondent même pas au téléphone. Très mauvaise nuit . On a eu froid toute la nuit. Une seule couverture et pas assez grande pour deux personnes Les serviettes de bain sont très vieilles et pourries. A ne pas recommander à vos clients. Cet hôtel n'est pas digne d'être sur votre plate-forme. Si cet hôtel reste recommandé sur Booking.com, je me dirigerai ainsi que tout mon entourage vers une autre plate-forme.

slordige onverzorgde oprit parking slordige onverzorgde ingang gebouwen onaangename ( rioolgeur) in de badkamer stoel viel uit elkaar op de kamer geen ontbijt te verkrijgen !!
