BED Cauchy

The location was excellent and incredibly convenient! Being so centrally situated in Namur made exploring the city on foot an absolute breeze. Everything was within easy reach. It was just a short, pleasant walk to the train station (a huge plus for arrivals/departures!), the beautiful city centre with its shops and restaurants, and all the main historical sights like the Citadel and the River Meuse for a stroll. It genuinely enhanced our stay, as we spent less time travelling and more time enjoying Namur. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who values a perfectly placed base for sightseeing!

Can’t think of anything to fault. It is a very quick and simple to check in (no staff to deal with) and the communication was excellent making sure it was clear with code of door and key. Just spot on.

Bed was relatively comfy, nice shower, balcony

Common kitchen was not very clean, zero spoons, few forks and no sharp knives. Dishwasher was never run so I had to clean the cutlery I wanted.

- Easy self check-in (instructions were pretty clear) - Clean and comfortable room, with smart TV - Vending machine at the entrance, with many options of drinks and snacks

The room was a good size as was the bathroom. The location was pretty good, you could walk to bars and restaurants fairly easily.

Parking was incredibly difficult to find. We ended up parking our motorcycles several hundred yards away around a corner. The place was fairly run down and in need of a bit of TLC. Our room was up six flights of stairs, a long way to haul all the luggage, helmets etc having carried them form the bikes.
