Good location

Good location Clean room

The bedroom was extremely hot as were the corridors . We were unable to lower the temperature in our room as the air conditioner was set to heating centrally. Due to this we had very poor sleep. We were advised by reception that air conditioning is not available at this time of year. Not enough information about the location of the parking garage which was difficult to find. Parking was expensive.

On the positive side, the location is very convenient, and the mattress was comfortable, which made sleeping pleasant. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the value for money did not fully meet expectations.

The expectations were higher considering the price. Unfortunately, the room lacked many basic amenities: there was no complimentary bottle of water, no kettle, no tissues, no slippers, and even no toilet brush. In addition, there were only two towels provided for two people, which was insufficient.

How to discriminate against guests with mobility issues!

It's in a great location, really close to the town centre. The room was a good size, very clean and the bed was comfy.

Travelling with a disabled partner is tough. I checked with the hotel before I booked about accessibility - parking, lift etc. There is a parking space designated for a disabled driver but it's tiny. It's impossible to get a wheelchair or disabled person out of the car once parked. Having got my husband out of the car we discovered you have to negotiate a step and a heavy fire door to access the lift. I was able to get to the door around the wheelchair from the car park side, then I had to manoeuvre up the step. But from the hotel side you need to put your key card in the slot on the door, then open a heavy door in a narrow hallway - it's just not possible for a disabled traveller to access! It got worse when we discovered there's a large step at the front door of the hotel - so having struggled to get in from the car park level you can't go out! I managed to get my husband out, we went out for dinner but then getting back in was incredibly difficult. All this cost more than 100 euros for one night. I expected more from a chain like Ibis. Apart from the inconvenience this is extremely dangerous - in the event of a fire for example we would have been effectively trapped by the stupidity of the access. Absolutely rubbish service.

Disappointing value for money.

The bedding was acceptable.

For the price I paid on Booking, I thought IBIS had a high-end hotel in Namur, but I was wrong. The room didn't even have a bottle of water, the bathroom was a plastic cubicle, and there was recyclable toilet paper. Terrible value for the price paid. After the first night, I moved to the Mercure and, for less money, received an extraordinary level of service. I regret the experience.

A fine stay in a great location

Great location and close to a delightful Italian restaurant! The room was a good size and the bed was fine. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was the perfect start that we needed before we got back on the road for another long drive.

We got to the hotel around dinner time and all of their parking was already full for the day. That was a bummer and there was no sign on the hotel's parking gate that indicated this. I also didn't read that the room didn't have a refrigerator and was stuck with leftovers that I couldn't keep cool.

The room was adequate,breakfast very good,location was close to town centre

The room had no A/C and was very hot so had to open the window but was very noisy all through the night so did not get to much sleep,couldn't walk to the centre at night because there were big gangs of men hanging around,it felt very unsafe.

very easy, practical and cool for a weekend or even longer

close to the center easy, fast, convenient we travelled with out 3 year old, very satisfied for 2 nights, breakfast ok, bar ok

12 euro parking for the car… but at least you are calm and safe. and the backdoor parking is really cozy and close. no vegetables at breakfast, but this is complaining at a high level.

location is very convenient for the town and the staff were vey pleasant and helpful

there is building work going on opposite and sand and dirt got everywhere including in the bed

Ibis Namur Centre is a clean and convenient place to stay with no frills.

The staff was helpful. It was conveniently located to the city center and the citadel.

The elevator was broken. The third floor button was missing and was just covered with duct tape.We were disappointed that the front desk did not at least notify us that we would need to use the stairs.
