It's in a great location and offers great value for money.

It's in a great location near the airport. It's really convenient to be able to leave your car there for up to 15 days. The hotel organised a transfer to the airport. (€25 in August 2025, one way). Very attractive old building, well maintained. The rooms are classic.

The reception was difficult to reach by phone.

Amazing stay, very friendly personal, location is amazing near airport and price very affordable

A bit harder to communicate with staff as he only spoke french, but somehow we communicated :D Also room location is mostly always is shadow so some rooms gets very humid even books can get wet and bedding a little bit uncomfortable. Other than that, amazing stay.

Lovely little hotel near Charleroi

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a flight from Charleroi. The family room was fabulous. I would certainly stay here again!

ability to leave your car in the lot and take a taxi to the Charleroi Airport. No fee for car to stay. Taxi 25 Euro each way to front door of airport. I also loved the window shades that turned the room to pitch black.

Lovely stylish hotel

Size of the room, very comfortable bed, 2 armchairs and table, very well maitened garden with plenty of space to walk with a dog. Dog friendly. Lovely lounge downstairs. Very helpful and friendly owners.

the entrance was a little hard to find in the night and there was no lift but since we didn’t have heavy bags it was manageable

Perfect guesthouse but worst transfer ever!

The guesthouse is very clean and the room fulfilled all our expectations. The beds were also very comfortable.

The transfer to the airport (who was arranged by the owner of the guest house) did not arrive! We tried to call the owner and send him message however he did not respond till today. We waited for almost 20 minutes after which we decided to drive to the airport by ourselfs while the other taxi companies did not pick up their phone at 07:10. Besides that the owner doesn’t speak any other language besides French which makes communicating very hard.

Convenient stopover accommodation in quiet country location near Charleroi

Quiet location in a countryside near to Charleroi airport and the Belgian motorway system. Parking in gravel parking area within the grounds. Friendly host.

Base of bed was creaky and the mattress dipped in the middle.

Leaving the car there for days and a local taxi shuttle went well.

No food at the hotel and very little choice of other eating places nearby. I was disappointed not to be offered, or able to make a cup of tea. Think there should be tea making facilities in the room.

The room is practical, clean and the bed was comfortable.

We arrived late, around 09.45 pm, but that was no issue. The owner was very friendly. He arranged a taxi for the next day, to take us to the airport; Charleroi. The fact that we can leave our car at Les Tilleuls for free, is amazing.

We were pleased from the moment we walked in and would definitely stay here again!

This is a hidden gem! We were very comfortable in our rooms. The bathrooms were updated beautifully. The staff was great and the hotel was beautiful, even the landscaping was kept up perfectly. Parking was free and enough parking for all guests.

A slight odor from one of our bathrooms but could probably go away with some airing out. We stayed during a hot week so I’m sure the odor was made worse because of the heat.

Excellent value stay very close to the airport. Highly recommended

Very happy with the location as it was extremely close to the airport. Previously I had stayed a hotel chain near to the airport. I was much happier at Guesthouse Les Tilleuls as it was similar in price but offered much better facilities in terms of room size and comfort. Also there was a person at check in who was very helpful. Plenty of car parking out front of the hotel. All in all a much better experience than I had previously elsewhere and excellent value. External shutters meant the room was easily blacked out for sleeping and the owner closes them during the day to prevent the rooms getting too hot. Very thoughtful management.

Beautiful old house. Very clean. The family who hosted this property are very helpful. Huge thanks to them. Close to Airport. Around town few restaurants. I personally went to Italian. It was great menu with many choices. About 15 min walk from the hotel.

It was a bit cold in the room. The location of the property for only people with cars. Do not try to get to this place by taxi. Impossible. Make sure you speak french. Not many people around speak English

My room was big, clean and comfortable. The tiled floor is ideal for people with dust allergy. The lady who checked me in speaks english, so we could understand very nicely each other. She offered to help me with my luggage and made the arrangement for the taxi transfer to the airport. It costs 14 euro, cash.
