the room was a nice size and clean.
the ipad in the room was a waste of time, i asked for a dressing gown and dental kit and nothing arrived, we ordered food to collect downstairs and it didn't work and when we went down to the bar/restaurant was told no order had come through and they were too busy to make any more food (approx 15 people in room) and told to order uber eats, asked for help regarding a phone charger and was dismissed very rudely by the man at checkin, they were aware that we had no luggage as our suitcases had been held at the airport due to a cancelled connecting flight.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we immediately noticed that the room had not been cleaned. There were drawings on the walls, white stains on the doors, cabinet doors, walls, and furniture. Coffee stains and food splatters on the walls, and brown stains in the shower. Sticky fingerprints on every door and glass marks on the nightstands. Based on this, it was easy to assume that the overall hygiene of the room was not at a very high level either.
I went to request cleaning right away, and we were asked to leave the room while it was being cleaned. A short while later, we were told the room had been cleaned, although it clearly hadn’t been cleaned at all. At that point, I asked for a room change, but that wasn’t possible since there were no available rooms. The situation was eventually addressed by calling the manager and the cleaner back to the room.
The manager came first and told us that they did not have the necessary cleaning equipment for this type of cleaning. I asked for a cloth so I could clean the room myself and finally start enjoying my vacation, which I had booked for my birthday. The cloth was not provided; instead, the cleaner was called back in. She wiped one door and one table a little, then asked what else needed to be cleaned—although she’s the cleaner and we’re the guests.
For the rest of the stay, we basically tried to avoid touching anything, as we didn’t know what was clean and what wasn’t. We both ended up getting sick during the stay.
We had booked the most expensive room to make the most of our holiday, but we feel that this did not happen. We also heard a few other guests complaining about poor cleanliness. We would like to request some form of compensation for this.

Room was nice and spacious and had a kitchen area. Dinner on first nice in the restaurant was good.
Restaurant was closed on the Sunday and Monday evening, this was not advised when booking, and as nothing nearby they suggested ordering in for food. For a Radisson this is extremely sub standard. Big queues at reception as only one staff member on.

Restaurant ambience was great!
The fact that I had to make a refundable deposit of €100 for two days! What sort of policy is that? And when I was getting it, the property took local authority tax. That was not explained clearly upfront. The rationale of the policy is that the deposit is against any expenses incurred by the guest during their stay.
But a guest is obligated to pay for expenses they make during their stay. In other properties this policy does not exist but guests routinely pay when they make expenses.

The lady who served us on the terrace on Friday evening. She had dark shoulder length hair and was fast, friendly and efficient.
We called for room service at 9.05am. He came 5 min before we were ready to leave the room. We asked if he could come back in a few min, he didn't.
It seems like you got many great reviews on how clean your hotel is and then you decided this year to get rid of staff to save money. Making people call in early for room service, disguising it as "going green".
There were spiderwebs inside on the window where I was sleeping, the bathroom was dusty, the mirror streaky, the sink dirty, the water didn't go down in the sink and the floor of the shower looked disgusting.
The carpet in the room hasn't been cleaned in WEEKS!!!

Had to ask more times for cleaning. Was staying 5 Nights and had not enough stuff also. They should provide more coffee, milk, Sugar, dishwas tablets, water if you stay longer. But when i asked i got them. Also good cleaning.
Parking is very expensive, the free place is often full but they let me charge the electric car.

The location and management action to resolve my issue of not having two bedrooms suite available.
The behavior of the receptionist (his name is Greef) in the first night I arrived at the hotel was very bad and he didn't give two rooms as per my booking, and he didn't even apologize or tell me that my booked two rooms suite is not available. First, he gave me the room key for one bedroom then when I goes up to the room with my family after long trip we were surprised from having only one room while our booking is for two bedrooms. I went back to him in the reception then he told me that the hotel is overbooked, and he will give me additional room until next day then they will give me two bedroom suite as per my original booking. I asked him why he didn't tell me this from the beginning but he never answered.
In the second day, I went to the reception to tell them about what happened, then I met a great and very helpfull employee (his name Salvatore) where he helped me a lot, and he was so professional in dealing with us by apologizing not having the two bedroom suite available and he offered us to stay in our given rooms with good discount. Based on his excellent attitude and his action we elected to stay in the same rooms with discount. Also we asked him to give us the two rooms in the same floor which he did immediately to keep our kids beside us in the same floor. I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation to the management of the hotel and special thanks goes to Mr. Salvatore for his assistance.
We wish the hotel management will take action against the bad behavior of the first receptionist we met in the first night in order to avoid having the same issue with other guests as this is affecting the hotel image and reputation.

Location is terrible you need to walk about 1.7 km from closest tram to hotel and with luggage it is not practical.
Everything in room is worked on a tablet but this is terrible to use for the TV as battery is not good goes flat if not on charge even when watching TV for a short while
We were no told information upon arrival about “room cleaning “ it needs to be requested on the tablet if you require room cleaning it’s just not practical or user friendly, staff were uninformative
Food in restaurant was not too bad was a bit pricey and when you are so far from other options doesn’t leave much choice and once again you need to order on tablet in room if you want to take to room and the service staff in restaurant were rude and not helpful!
Overall a very disappointing stay for the price will not recommend this hotel or stay again at this property.

This hotel was really lovely: quiet, clean, comfortable and with excellent facilities including a kitchen/ fridge in each room. Staff were very attentive
We were told we had an upgraded suite but actually just had the suite we ordered. The plug didn’t work in the bath and the room layout/ curtains meant the main bedroom was very light in the morning.

This is one of the few hotels in the area that accepts pets. I booked rooms for myself and one for my mother - with her dog. We were happy with our rooms and breakfast. We will certainly book her again.

The hotel is situated on the periphery of Amsterdam, the surrounding is nice, but public transport and shops are far. Uber is quite expensive in Amsterdam. I highly recommend renting a bike.

I've read somewhere in reviews that the shower is confusing to use, there were literally 2 valves (knobs), how did you guys make this far in life?
Parking uses a ticket system, barely alive at times when trying to leave in the middle of stay.
No direct HDMI connection available on TV, only Screen Cast with dedicated apps (YouTube as an example). Somehow this hotel managed to skip a simpler solution and went for a restrictive wireless one.

4 star hotel. There's not much I can say. Radisson Blu never fails. All the presentations are what you can expect. The staff are all very hospitable and accommodating. There is air conditioning, high tech TV that can be used to cast netflix, Youtube, and other streaming devices from your phone. It is very easy to use.
Just the distance from the train and the eateries. It took us to use Bolt/Uber to just go to the nearest main train station, Amsterdam Zuid
