Easy, clean and convenient with great breakfast!
Great stay, comfortable beds and great shower, everything clean. The breakfast at Lucias downstairs was brilliant!
Car parking - we had hired a car and opted to park in the underground car park, booked before we stayed following emails promoting a discount in pre-booking parking. However there is parking outside which is free in certain hours, as we are out all day this would have been fine for us. We felt mislead and wasted money. Otherwise, everything was great.

This was our 5th time booking with Cityden Stadshart, and we’ve also stayed multiple times at their Zuidas location. Since our very first stay, we’ve never looked for any other hotels whenever we travel to the Netherlands. Our most recent visit was with our kids, and we had an amazing time. The apartments are comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located, making our stay both relaxing and convenient. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which makes every visit feel like coming home. We can’t recommend Cityden enough and will continue to make it our first choice every time we’re in the Netherlands!

Overall not bad but fell short on room not being set up properly and staff helpfulness
The room was a good size and with good facilities, although we did not use the kitchen except for kettle. Breakfast was good. Location was good for us as we needed to be in Amstelveen and it was close to shops and restaurants too.
The kitchen lights did not seem to be working. There was a huge unappealing thick and curly hair stuck to one of the towels. When we arrived the sofa bed was not made up. When we went downstairs to reception to report this (there was no phone to call down) they told us it was made up and we just had to pull it out. We went back up and did this, it was still not made up. We went down again and were told there would be bedlinen in a box to the side of the sofa. We went back and the box was empty. We hunted around ourselves and found some bedlinen in a cupboard but there was no sheet. We went down again (third time) and finally someone then came up and saw what we were talking about (and believed us) and went off to get a sheet and came back to make up the bed. They were apologetic about the error, but it was a shame that someone didn't just help us the first time rather than having to go up and down three times to reception. We slept on the sofa bed as our other guests needed the main bed and it was uncomfortable. The main bed did seem to be comfortable. It was a pricey room and if sleeping four people comfortably perhaps could have justified, but it felt overpriced - particularly compared to the inner city hotel we stayed in the next night in Amsterdam itself.
