I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will be booking again when I next visit my family

The hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were a good size. I really enjoyed the breakfast which provided good choice and set you up for the day. The hotel was not too far from the airport but would take you around 30 minutes to get into the centre of Amsterdam. I was visiting family and this hotel was close to them. Will definitely go back.

We had such a great stay at Grand Hotel Amstelveen! The front desk staff were absolutely fantastic — so friendly, welcoming, and professional. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, which made the whole experience much nicer. The room was spotless and very cozy, with everything I needed. You can tell they really care about keeping things clean and well-maintained. The hotel itself has excellent facilities, which made my stay easy and relaxing. From start to finish, everything just felt smooth and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend Grand Hotel Amstelveen to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay with staff who genuinely make you feel at home.

The hotel is quite far from the city center, and there are no convenience stores, supermarkets, or even small shops within walking distance. This made simple things, like grabbing a snack, a drink, or other necessities, surprisingly difficult. It really felt “off the reservation” — very isolated, with little to do nearby.

Parking, rooms, personal all really nice to stay and feel welcome.

The people who are working there were so nice, I mean honestly so nice. Up front, helping out, finding solutions and trying to let you feel welcome from the moment you step into the hotel. We had kind of a bad situation with the bike of my daughter which we rented out there. We'll bad things can happen, but what I liked they offered help, were looking right away what might be possible and also checked the situation. The bikes are from a rental company so they couldn't do a lot but the way how they handled it, was really good. Thanks for the drink afterwards to make up for the bad situation.

The only problem which we had, was with the bike rental. That was a little bit of a shame but nothing to do with the Hotel and the help and support on that topic from the Hotel staff was amazing.

Good stay for families, traveling by car and willing to stay away for the city center of Amsterdam.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and staff is super-helpful. There is plenty of free parking. Hotel bar is opened until 11:00 and you may get a quick snack.

Hotel are big, however a bit outdated, but still comfortable. Location is not very convenient, as there is not much around - like transportation of restaurants.

A lovely hotel, with good staff, if your happy to be outside of the city

The rooms were clean and tidy, and all the staff were lovely. A bit out of the way but only minutes to pick up an Uber to the city, and a shopping centre 5 mins drive away

There was minimal food choices available and as it was a Monday night the neighbouring restaurant was also closed

Good location, great hotel, amazing breakfast.

Breakfast was incredibly good. I can say it was the best breakfast I had in a hotel. There was a variety to choose from and the omelette was out of this world. Also the breakfast room is in a modern glass extension with plenty of light coming in. The staff was also very competent and friendly. Staff put an effort to switch my room to a room with a terrace after it became available however be aware of the rear rooms with balcony or terrace as mosquitos will keep you up at night.

Toilet brush holder could have been cleaned up before checking in. Bicycle rent far too expensive.

Breakfast area is inappropriate small for its name Grand Hotel. Breakfast food options very limited. The hotel should have a nicer reception area. In my opinion, this is an overpriced hotel.
