Location and view from the balcony was breath taking. Having opportunity to sit on the balcony with morning tea/coffee. Afternoon brunch in the sun or the wooden dining table in the common area. Swimming, pebble beach, hiking location right in the area. Buses run there. Host is very accommodating and took care of my every need and exceeded expectations! I couldn't of asked for a better stay! Antique/old school decor, maps boat charts etc. like a mini museum of the beautiful life had in this beautiful region of Italy. I'll most definitely coming back if in the area and recommend to all! Every room has private key for privacy. La posizione e la vista dal balcone erano mozzafiato. Ho avuto la possibilità di sedermi sul balcone con il tè/caffè del mattino, il brunch pomeridiano al sole o al tavolo da pranzo in legno nella zona comune. Nuoto, spiaggia di ciottoli, sentieri escursionistici proprio nelle vicinanze. L'autobus arriva fino lì. L'host è stato molto disponibile e si è preso cura di ogni mia esigenza, superando le mie aspettative! Non avrei potuto chiedere di meglio! Arredamento antico/vintage, mappe, carte nautiche ecc., come un mini museo della bella vita in questa splendida regione d'Italia. Ci tornerò sicuramente se sarò in zona e lo consiglio a tutti! Ogni camera ha una chiave privata per garantire la privacy.

We were the only guests staying there, so we had the whole apartment to ourselves. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It is also very clean and has everything you might need. The balcony offers a nice sea view. The host is a lovely woman and very helpful. She even left us some food and a few thoughtful extras that you wouldn't expect to find in this kind of accommodation, so that was a very nice gesture. The apartment is located right in the center of the village, next to the castle and the bus station, where buses run regularly to Trieste and Udine. If you're planning to stay in Duino, don't hesitate to book this place—you won't regret it. We actually extended our stay because we felt so comfortable and enjoyed it so much.

We really couldn't find any downsides.

Nice people.

Old and dark appartement. The use of electric scent refreshers made everything smell odd. Breakfast was croissants in lang-lasting wrapping. However there was a nice cafe on the square 100 meters away.
