It was pretty dated and the pillows were very uncomfortable. We thought there may be some historic charm but unfortunately didn’t find it.

We would stay again

Overall this is a good hotel that is well run and with cheap parking on the street. There is a good cafe and an excellent restaurant just across the street.

Breakfast was ok but strangely managed; it would be better if you could choose more from the buffet. we were also not happy with the finishing time. We do not like bath/showers and see little need for baths unless separately provided.

Good location - close to restaurant, grocery store & bus station, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and I loved the beautiful big windows and the view. The breakfast was really good!

I could hear every word of the room next door, but they may have been speaking very loud. It got a bit stuffy towards the morning, so I just opened the windows.

Great location. Beautiful building. Lovely room, good size.

Very hot weather. Returned to room later that night. Air-conditioner not working, had to ring reception a few times to get it to work. No water, or anything in fridge. Had to ask for some as we were very hot. Would think you would not be charged for water, after all of that.

Lovely hotel with parking(extra charge) and great cold buffet breakfast. Close to castle.

No evening meals served when town has very few restaurants open on Sunday and Monday.

the hotel is a very elegant historical building. the rooms is huge and clean, the bed is comfortable and big. the staff was great. there’s also the parking. we tried also the breakfast and was excellent. highly recommended!!!

very old fashioned - no hair conditioner, no tea and coffee facility. the sofa bed in the junior suite was not fit to sleep on. the junior suite was full of furniture but uncomfortable

The room was small and not cosy at all. Compared to my last year’s stay, when i got big and beautiful single room for less money, this year’s more expensive room that looks like an attic was total disappointment.

Great comfortable place in a nice town

This is a great little hotel, very central, in a beautiful town. The building was originally a palace occupied by French princes and then the church. It has been tastefully renovated and furnished but is neither glitzy nor busy. It is within a short walk from bars, restaurant and a hilltop castle. Parking at the property.

Passable

The position. The silence.

Breakfast service was confusing and clunky. It did not flow. They are trying desparately hard to be covid safe and it does not work. The safe in the room did not work and was not fixed even though I was there for several days. But the reception man did try hard of the first day but no follow up. Should have had umbrellas available for guests given how it rains there.
