I was met by very friendly staff (there is a nice restaurant in the same building). They really cared about me and gave me appreciated tips what to explore in town, had brochures at hand. I felt welcome and they were always attentive to detail and service-oriented.
Location is perfect, few meters from the railway station, the border, both city centres within easy reach by foot.
I could store my luggage there, which was a great service.
The breakfast was fine, but some bread bun from bakery could further improve it.

Chose the property for its location close to Nova Gorica railway station to facilitate an early start in the morning (also the price was very good.) I was expecting to arrive quite late and the host messaged to say he would be happy to wait for me; in the end I arrived before 9pm and I'm glad I did as it gave me the chance to experience the restaurant. There is only one word for the quality of the meal - superlative.

Rooms were close to the railway station and offered good value for money in high summer. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and had air conditioning. Staff were friendly and apologetic about the two small issues we encountered.
Some of the bathroom fittings were loose/broken and the shower ran out of hot water. At night we noticed some very small bugs / creepy crawlies in the bathroom, but they were not a big problem.
