Warmly recommended cosy place to stay

I was met by very friendly staff (there is a nice restaurant in the same building). They really cared about me and gave me appreciated tips what to explore in town, had brochures at hand. I felt welcome and they were always attentive to detail and service-oriented. Location is perfect, few meters from the railway station, the border, both city centres within easy reach by foot. I could store my luggage there, which was a great service.

The breakfast was fine, but some bread bun from bakery could further improve it.

Nice little guest house with attentive host, convenient but quiet location, superb restaurant.

Chose the property for its location close to Nova Gorica railway station to facilitate an early start in the morning (also the price was very good.) I was expecting to arrive quite late and the host messaged to say he would be happy to wait for me; in the end I arrived before 9pm and I'm glad I did as it gave me the chance to experience the restaurant. There is only one word for the quality of the meal - superlative.

Reasonably priced and conveniently located.

Rooms were close to the railway station and offered good value for money in high summer. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and had air conditioning. Staff were friendly and apologetic about the two small issues we encountered.

Some of the bathroom fittings were loose/broken and the shower ran out of hot water. At night we noticed some very small bugs / creepy crawlies in the bathroom, but they were not a big problem.

Amazing food, attentive staff and good location to the train station. They are happy to rent bikes out to guests if you want to explore more of the city

A nice place to stay; a brilliant place to eat!

Very agreeable little hotel which doubles as a gourmet restaurant. It's well worth dining here; the dinner was not too expensive and absolutely delicious, one of the best meals I have had in Slovenia! Very charming and helpful chap on duty at reception, who also later waited attentively on me at dinner, and who efficiently arranged a taxi to take me to Grad Kromberk. Perfect location for the railway station and an easy walk into the town centre as well as to the fortress of Italian Gorizia. Efficient air conditioning a relief during a heat wave. Comfortable room.

Shower was a bit complicated with lots of knobs; hard to work out how to use it! Bed slightly awkwardly placed making it difficult to open and close the curtain.

Friendly hotel in Nova Gorica

Staff were very helpful. I arrived late and needed to depart early but they were very welcoming and showed me the room and explained everything that I needed to know. Room amd bathroom were very clean. Shower was very good. Also very quiet. A very convenient location if arriving or departing by train

Perfect welcome to Slovenia

The service was wonderful. Same staff as in the restaurant downstairs where we had our best meal in Slovenia, here on our first night. The waiting staff were so knowledgeable and welcoming. The room was comfortable and close to the train station which was ideal.

We couldn't put our bikes inside somewhere safe, however, there was a terrace they could be kept on behind a secure gate, so we were happy with that.

Good accommodation with excellent restaurant

Good location equidistant between the centres of Nova Gorica and Gorizia, 10-15 minute walk to either, similar walk to the monastery and bus station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant and bar on the ground floor - I’d definitely recommend eating there.

The armchair didn’t really fit in the space in my room and being by a desk a smaller desk type chair would make sense.

Wonderful

A very enjoyable stay. The bartender who checked me in was extremely helpful, pleasant, and spoke flawless English. The restaurant is very nice and the room is quite comfortable. Very new and clean with a nice bathroom and a very fancy shower. The breakfast was good and is very convenient right next to the rooms with a nice selection of foods. I can certainly recommend staying here and enjoying the restaurant also possible

Need a comfortable and quite place to stay overnight? This is the right place to be

Quiet room and place; cleanliness; good location, between Gorizia and Nova Gorica; nice staff. Unfortunately we did not use the restaurant, but looked nice.

Price a little bit higher than the service provided (a little bit more than 90 Eur) Despite we did not use the breakfast room, it looked like a bit unpleasant. But this is a very minor comment.

Lovely place to stay and eat! Bonus- Walking distance to Gorizia, Italy.

Everything was excellent!! Communication was quick and check in and check out were simple and smooth. Room was great! Breakfast was great! Staff were all amazing! Easy walk into Gorizia, Italy from the hotel. Also, close to public transportation as well. And, do yourself a favor and EAT AT THEIR RESTAURANT. The food was so delicious, especially the beefsteak! Would definitely stay there again when visiting this area.

Great room, bed and bathroom

One of the best places we stayed at, even if it was just for one day. We were pleasantly welcomed with a free drink and a nice chat. We got the breakfast (5 euros!) and were pleasantly surprised with a DIY toast & tea breakfast. Was worth the money for us. The room itself looked very good and had a nice bed and very nice shower. This hotel defo punches above its weight.
