Villa Bonafata b&b

The perfect location to stay when in Trieste! We are a family of 4, passing through Trieste, on our way home, wanting to spend 1 day in Trieste. And we really loved our stay at Villa Bonafata. Host, Alessandra, was so nice, hospitable, warm and gave such good tips and information about Trieste. Room, beds and bathroom were all perfect. Breakfast was also very nice! Villa Bonafata is a beautiful house, in a beautiful and calm part of town, with very easy access to transportation around town. When we are back in Trieste we would always love to stay here.

Villa Bonafata truly exceeded our expectations. It is charming, spacious, and beautifully designed, with stunning architecture and a lovely garden. Our host, Alessandra, was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent and exactly what we needed before continuing our journey.

Ondanks eerdere berichten over lawaai van de treinen, bleek dit best wel mee te vallen. De eerste keer dat je ze hoort, is het wat overweldigend, maar het treinverkeer valt stil 's nachts, dus best doenbaar. Vanuit de locatie is er een vlotte busverbinding naar het centrum van Triest (buslijnen 6 en 36) We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen in het Engels.

De kleine kamer met aparte badkamer is wat pover in vergelijking met de andere kamer, maar netjes en schoon.

De locatie, dichtbij heerlijk zwemwater van de Adriatische Zee. Veel restaurantjes in de buurt, Veel gezelligheid bij het strand, ook in de avond. Op fietsafstand van centrum van Triëste én het Miramar kasteel.

Er zijn twee kamers. De ene is groot met uitzicht op zee (in de verte). Wij hadden de andere kamer met kleiner bed, aan de achterkant bij het treinspoor en met externe badkamer.
