Rude Staff, Horrible Environment and old clothes in drawers!

Nothing - best part of this stay was leaving we cannot recommend to anyone.

We waited 40mins in a heatwave to get checked in - we had a long journey to get there and our phones do not work in Switzerland so we needed free WiFi. Owner insisted we should book in online and it was Booking.com to blame. The instructions clear stated online check-in was optional. We had to ask a shop keeper nearby to contact the owner as there was no reception- just a locked shop. The shop keeper was not surprised! Whilst waiting we met a couple who had left luggage and they allowed us access out of the 35 degrees sunshine to wait for the owner. These previous guests explained the owner is very unreliable - we had already assumed that! The owner was very rude and unhelpful. The physical condition of the apartment left lots to be desired - it’s horrible despite the pictures - like a budget hostel. The headboard on the bed is all peeling and quite disgusting. We found old clothes in a drawer; the kitchen facilities were very poor and we chose to eat out rather than use them. The air conditioning is very loud and noise from the covered internal courtyard was annoying but it’s basically businesses who have open doors onto this area so not something unusual or really their fault it’s just a poor holiday accommodation setup. Ruined this part of the holiday.

Good location

Great location within walking distance of the railway station, Piazza Grande and the lake front. The apartment in the old town in a genuine Ticino townhouse, which otherwise houses private apartments. It was comfortable and the kitchen reasonable well equipped, but with windows only opening out onto a central courtyard the room was a bit dark.

Loved our stay in this very comfortable apartment in the beautiful historic town centre!

Loved that the apartment was in the old town just off the main square, so great for exploring the town but also close to walk to the lake front. There is a supermarket close by in the square. The apartment was very spacious, very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything necessary. The host was very helpful and went out of her to help us find the parking when we got lost which we so appreciated.

Great staff, kind, super responsive & helpful with suggestions of best way to get around and restaurants. Great location very near piazza & close to Coop store. There was a fan in the apartment which was very helpful in the heat. Air conditioning worked at night which helped also. There was some live music in the piazza at night.

The balcony feature was very disappointing but the studio apartment was clean and centrally located

great location in a classic building within a short walk to the Piazza Grande, Locarno. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Small apartment with kitchen facility and private bathroom. Easy check in at a store near to the property.

The advertised balcony was very small and outdoor chairs were not provided. The outlook from the balcony was a courtyard of other apartments.

Exceptional

Great place just off Piazza Grande in Locarno. A quick walk to all the sights in town. A great plus was to get a "Ticino Ticket" along with the rent: free public transport all over Ticino, plus reduced entry in many museums etc.

Central, comfortable stay.

Central location. Clean .Safe. comfortable bed

No transportation to the location. With the steep cobbled streets,and building steps, becomes difficult with bags. Tiny bathroom. Just one power point for kettle and charging. No microwave, bottle opener, glasses, kitchen basics like oil etc.

Perfect location, really confortable stay

The studio had everything we needed and is right next to the Piazza grande but still in a quiet side street. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, including the basic condiments. And Terry, the owner was always available and very helpful.

Perfekter Aufenthalt!

Die Unterkunft ist eine Mischung von alt und modern und insgesamt sehr sauber. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden… auch eine Kaffeemaschine mit Pads und Tee. Die Zentrale Lage ist perfekt… Mitten in der Altstadt! Wir waren das 2.Mal in dieser Unterkunft und wir können sie nur empfehlen.

Siamo ritornati con grande piacere e soddisfazione. Siamo stati accolti con molta cordialità e il check-in è stato efficiente come sempre. Struttura ben tenuta, pulita e piacevole. Cè tutto il necessario e la posizione è molto tranquilla. La presenza del parcheggio è comodissima.

Un beau séjour en amoureux

L'appartement est très bien situé au cœur de la ville. Son isolation permet d être au calme malgré le bruit du festival du film. Et le décor du plafond fait rêver.

Peu de matériel dans le cuisine il n y a vraiment que le stricte minimum.

Tolle, zentrale Lage und doch ruhig gelegen, unkompliziertes check in, freundlicher Empfang, recht grosses Appartement, Ticino Ticket, bei dem der öffentliche Verkehr im Tessin während der Aufenthaltstage gratis ist (ausgenommen ist die Seilbahn nach Cardada)

Das Zimmer hat nicht dem entsprochen wie auf der Plattform. Ziemlich teuer.

Enttäuschend - in die Jahre gekommen und nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Lage und Nähe zur Piazza Grande war super.

Das Zimmer entsprach leider nicht den Bildern. Das Bett war stark abgenutzt – das Leder am Kopfteil war zerkratzt und löste sich bereits ab. Auch die restliche Einrichtung wirkte veraltet und renovierungsbedürftig. Im gesamten Raum lag zudem ein unangenehmer Geruch, weshalb wir uns grösstenteils außerhalb der Unterkunft aufhielten. Insgesamt stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht, und wir würden nicht erneut buchen.

Tolle Lager aber dürftiges Appartement

Lage des Apartments ist top. Die Ausstattung ist jedoch mehr grenzwertig. Das Kopfteil des Bettes war sehr schäbig (zerkratzt) und auch sonst waren alle Möbel sehr schmuddelig. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat in keiner Weise gepasst. Die kommunikation mit der Vemietung war sehr gut und sehr nett.

Es war ein schöner Urlaub.

Die Lage ist super und es war sehr sauber. Und die Klimaanlage ist zwar laut, aber sie ist sehr effizient.😉

Es steht, dass es eine Veranda hat. Aber das ist nicht so. Es hat einen überdachten Innenhof, da kann man nirgends gemütlich sitzen. Es hat auch keine Stühle, die man dort rausnehmen könnte.
