If you're not too concerned about the details and are looking for a place with character, not a perfect clean hotel room, I can recommend it.
The locality is perfect, you would not expect such calm and peaceful place to stay in the heart of Edinburgh.
The kitchen is light and spatious and has everything you need, we spent most of the time there.
The view from the living room into the garden is amazing, but the garden itself is neglected and untidy, and it doesn't make you want to spend time there, which is a shame.
The wi-fi was very unreliable.
The bathroom smelled a bit of dampness (I expected that based on previous reviews), but turning on the heating helped a little.
My daughter and I were looking forward to spending time in the garden, but it was uninhabitable; my daughter tripped over some kind of low wooden fence hidden in the tall grass.
We didn't have enough storage space for our things; a large closet would be great.

Hübsches Appartement in idealer Lage mit gut ausgestatteter Küche. Frühstück im Garten, könnte nicht besser sein.
Leider stimmen die Angaben in booking zur Parksituation nicht. NCP parking ist nicht mehr verfügbar und sorgte für Ärger. Auch die erst nach der Buchung erscheinende verpflichtende Versicherung oder wahlweise Sicherheitsdeposit sollten vorab mitgeteilt werden.

Location was close enough to places to walk everywhere and it was clean and tidy.
The smell of damp quite strong (from the bathroom) in property wasn’t pleasant. We were lucky we spent most of the time out the flat and when inside could open all the windows (which it needed) as the weather was nice (although chilly). The management agency response was quick initially to acknowledge the issue but failed to offer a solution or help. The lights in the bathroom also had a mind of their own again no management response for that.
