Vag Nation long weekend break

What a beautiful couple, very welcoming and made my friend and I feel at home. The back drop is a thing of beauty. The breakfast 10/10. A full variety. Would definitely come again and would also recommend to friends and family.

For a short while, we forgot about the world and it's woes

Everything flowed in a subtle and easy way. The arrangements though simple are well conceived and presented. Eating by the large window watching the sunset and then the misty morning revealing march hares in the field... We didn't even conceive of writing a review. It was sooo relaxing and hosts were warm and respectful. It is on our list for the future and we will recommend it to friends... If you think we are too gushing, then read some of our other experiences!.. .. We travel a lot and give credit when credit is due . A lovely stay in a private home that feels private and super secure with private parking

Perfect Base and Stay

This was so perfect in every respect. Location. Ambiance. Welcome. We spent five nights here during a very hot spell. We were glad to return to the tranquillity each evening. Hosts are very attentive but never intrusive. Felt when we left that we had arrived as guests and left as friends

Quiet, bucolic, modern apartment.

Impeccably clean and modern and so well appointed. The breakfast was great! The location is nice and quiet and very beautiful. There is off-street parking and it is easy to get to and from the main highways.

Wonderful

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the lovely outside garden in the sunshine and eating our scrumptious breakfast in the conservatory, which looked out onto the horses and sheep next door. The hostess (who lives downstairs) spoke very good English and was very friendly, accommodating our request for one person's breakfast (which was €15 per person) to be gluten free (with advanced notice). The bed was very comfortable and the fluffy bath mats felt really nice on our feet . Dressing gowns had also been provided. A child's travel cot had been set up in a second room and it was a nice bonus that this room could be made completely dark for our little one to have a really good night's sleep. There were some puzzles and a child's badminton set provided for entertainment. The property was easy to find and the parking outside was straightforward. There were also some limited cooking facilities: hobs and a microwave oven. We had a great time here and would definitely stay here again!

There was nothing that we did not like - full marks for an absolutely wonderful stay! (Just a note that the property is up a flight of stairs.)

Close to perfect!

Excellent B&B! This room is surely one of the nicest we have had at a B&B: completely renovated, well equipped with a kitchenette, comfortable bed and spatious bathroom. Also, the breakfast (for 10 euro pp) is very copious and very tasty!

A relatively large amount of light enters the room even when the curtains are closed. That is not an issue at night, but it is difficult to keep the room dark when the morning sun is shining.

Lovely place and great host!

Rose's place is very charming, everything is shiny and new, the room is big and elegant and it has everything you need, including a small kitchen were you can even cook something. The breakfast was included and it was very generous and everything was fresh and looked incredible! We also enjoyed the big yard, were children can run around the grass and enjoy few animals from the neighbours. The place is very well situated in a quiet, small village and it gives you easy access to some well known attractions (Anvers, Gent - each at half an hour driving), as well as to some hidden jewels (with Rose's help, we discovered a beautiful natural reservation on a lake including a beach, Niewdonk, only 15 minutes away. Also, the small but charming town of Dendermonde is at 10 minutes driving distance). All in all, we truly enojoyed our staying at De Moeraseik. We travelled with our 3 old daughter and it was perfect for us!

Zeer verzorgde BenB op het Vlaamse platteland, vlakbij de Durme en Schelde

Na een warme ontvangst de hele avond voor het tuinhuis kunnen genieten van de ondergaande zon. Zeer verzorgd ontbijt met vers fruit, yoghurt, diverse broodjes, gekookt eitje en divers beleg. De host heeft ons geadviseerd over een mooie fietsroute en zelfs een kaart geschreven met de fietsknooppunten erop. De auto mocht zolang wel blijven staan. Kortom: geweldig!

Sehr schöne, gemütliche Wohnung

Die Fewo war sehr gemütlich und super sauber. Wir wurden sehr freundlich durch die Eigentümer begrüßt und die Wohnung war mit allem, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht, ausgestattet. Auch konnten wir das kleine gemütliche Gartenhaus für uns nutzen. Diese Fewo können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Fantastisch

Het ontbijt was heel goed...veel keus van brood en beleg je had heel keus..heel..rustige omgeving....direct toegang op de fiets knoop punten. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Al bij al hebben wij 3 leuke dagen gehad.... Voor herhaling vatbaar.
