Beautiful room. Breakfast overpriced.

Beautiful room , tastefully furnished. Very comfortable. From breakfast onwards the owners were lovely.

On arrival the front door was open so I entered and pressed the bell at reception 6 times. No response. I phoned to say I was downstairs and the owner came straight away but he was really cross because the door had been left open - like it was my fault. Got v confused by keys. No actual lock in room so we weren’t sure we were secure at night. Basin in toilet is v pretty but v tricky to use. Writing on toiletries too small to read without bright light and glasses. Would prefer a large bottle fixed to wall. Breakfast way overpriced at €20. €12 would have been more appropriate for the food provided. Eggs cooked to order were lovely but chilli flakes were too much for me. Had to ask for fruit. No yogurt. Only one type of cheese on same plate as ham - not nice for a non meat eater. Realised after we left that what we thought was meatloaf (so avoided) may have been cake. Price indicated luxury breakfast but it was just regular.

nice stay, in a calm cute hotel

conveniently located in the center of the city. it's nicely decorated with modern facilities. the host and staff are very friendly and helpful

the shower dripped every minute and the batteries of the remote of the air conditioner were empty. although it was november, it was warm outside and i wanted to use it because there was only a comforter and no separate sheets on the bed

A breakfast too far

Great location and very charming

Receptionist was very unfriendly. Because of the heat, our time restaints, and other commitments I asked if we could decide about breakfast the next morning. One would think this wouldn't be a problem. Well it was. After hearing how difficult it is for him to plan for 2 people to prepare breakfast he reluctantly agreed. The next morning it was very warm and I called to ask if was possible to eat outside in the beautiful hotel garden. I was rudely told no, and then asked if we wanted breakfast or not. That was too much. Great hotel, lousy staff experience. You would have thought being uncertain about eating breakfast the next day and if yes sitting oitside in the garden on a hot summer day was not too much to ask. At that price the staff should be a bit more friendly, understanding and accomodating. Too bad such a minor issue ruined such a potencially great experience.

Ideal staycation venue

Classic townhouse located in the heart of the city a few hundred meters away from the town square, cafés, bars and restaurants. The house has been neatly renovated, high ceilings and wooden floors have been preserved. My room had central heating and a/c, a half bath and separate toilet. Bed was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was copious and hosts were charming. The house is a fair walk away from the train station, only advisable with carry-on bags. A handy (small freight-) elevator is provided if stairs are an issue.

we werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, Onze kamer was heel ruim. de badkamer was echt fenomenaal mooi

Ontbijt was in buffet vorm, lekkere koffie. Er was ruim voldoende in een aangename setting.

bij aankomst waren we een beetje op zoek hoe we binnen moesten komen. Dat was een beetje onduidelijk. we waren een beetje op de tast want het was onduidelijk hoe we de mensen binnen konden bereiken. de deur kun je niet openen zonder badge, dus bellen maar en hopen dat iemand kwam opendoen. Er antwoorde niemand, maar na enkele minuten kwam er iemand de deur openen.

Ein sehr schön renoviertes Hotel mit Charme und eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Chefin. Wir waren per Fahrrad unterwegs und konnten die Räder im Haus sicher "übernachten".

Sehr schönes Hotel, hervorragend restauriert, wunderschönes Zimmer mit ebenerdiger Dusche und freistehender Badewanne, bequemes Bett, zentral gelegen (2-3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Marktplatz mit vielen Restaurants), öffentliche Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe (an der Straße von 18:00-9:00 kostenlos, Parkplatz in der Hochgarage über der Bibliothek in Sichtweite und recht günstig), netter Empfang, gutes Frühstück.

Fijn hotel met zeer lieve eigenaresse.

Ik vond het ontbijt niet super. Geen buffet, wat ik altijd persoonlijk een tegenvaller vind. Erg veel brood. Geen yoghurt of fruit. De croissants waren nogal vettig. kortom, niet echt 'mijn ding'.

Tolles modernes Hotel aus der Bella Epoche

Das Hotel hat einfach Charme. Tolle moderne Zimmer kombiniert mit dem Flair der Belle Epoche. Der Chef war äußerst freundlich, die allgemeine Atmosphäre schön, das Frühstück war gut. .

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln ... weiter so.

Tegenvallen helemaal niets, als er iets op te merken was, waren het details die het hotel alleen maar nog beter kunnen maken.

Perfecte tot rustkomen in hartje Dendermonde!

Zeer hartelijke verwelkoming van de eigenaars. Snelle incheck en een zeer rustige gelegen kamer. Alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen zijn aanwezig in de kamer, die zelf zeer mooi in de stijl van de woning/hotel werd gedecoreerd en gerenoveerd.
