A Hidden Gem of Charm, History, and Hospitality! Staying at B&B La Corderie was an absolute delight from start to finish. The house itself is a beautifully restored noble residence—its walls seem to breathe history, and every corner tells a story. The peaceful garden with a natural swimming pool offers the perfect place to relax and unwind. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warm and professional hosting by Erwin. He goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The breakfast? Simply the best I’ve ever had at any B&B—generous, locally sourced, and served with great care. As someone who eats gluten-free, I was touched by the effort Erwin made to provide me with delicious gluten-free bread and pastries. Another bonus: free parking just 50 meters away! La Corderie is a rare find—a place where beauty, comfort, and heart come together seamlessly. Highly recommended!

Exceptional

Not only was the room exceptional, the attention to detail extraordinary, and the hosts gracious, informative, and welcoming, the only word to describe breakfast was fabulous. Prepared by Erwin with obvious talent and care, and presented with a gourmet flair, it truly was a delight to all the senses. We initially booked for two nights, but were lucky enough to add an additional night. Each of the three breakfasts were different variations,, each as savory as the previous. The central location of Hamme to biking routes along the Schelde and its closeness to Ghent and Antwerp were what brought us to La Corderie. We are glad we did and look forward to our return.

Everything you wish for

Amazing rooms and very very kind staff. Everything was clean and we felt very welcome immediately. The shower and the bed were amazing and the room was beautiful. Also, the breakfast was outstanding. At this place you get what you pay for. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Beleving i.p.v. overnachting

Fantastisch verblijf gehad. Dit was geen overnachting maar dit was een magische beleving. Alles was zo mooi in kerstsfeer, het ontvangst was een heel warm welkom. Kamer was ook heel erg fijn en geen last van gehorigheid. Goed geslapen en uitgerust wakker geworden. Daarna als afsluiter van de beleving HET ontbijt, alsof je een Michelins sterren ontbijt geserveerd kreeg. Fantastisch. Ik hoop dat ik snel weer in de buurt mag verblijven want dan kom ik zeker weten terug.

Zalig en gezellig verblijf in een monumentaal pand.

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheren met een welkomstdrankje en praatje wat ons verblijf meteen heel aangenaam maakte. Het monumentale pand was prachtig versierd met kerstdecoraties. Alles was netjes en brandschoon. Daarnaast was het ontbijt een groot feest voor de tong. We hebben enorm genoten van dit verblijf!

Zeer sfeervolle interieur, alles was geheel in Kerst-stijl. Zeer netjes en schoon. Duidelijke en uitermate vriendelijke communicatie van de accommodatie.

Mijn verblijf was vrij kort, het was een zakelijk verblijf. Echter geen enkel negatief punt te vermelden.

Fantastisch, een échte aanrader!

Het is een heel mooi historisch pand, sfeervol ingericht en centraal gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving/straat. Ik werd warm verwelkomd door Erwin, de eigenaar van deze prachtige B&B. De hygiëne was helemaal super evenals het zeer uitgebreide ontbijt. Zelfs ik kon niet alles op 😂. Kortom een dikke welverdiende 10 en een échte aanrader!!!

De Gastheer Erwin was een onwijs aardige vent, met mooie verhalen over het oude pand waar de B&B gevestigd is. De kamer was top! Het ontbijt was om door een ringetje te halen met streekproducten en mooi verhaal. Hij heeft super zijn best gedaan om het allemaal naar ons zin te maken. En dat is meer dan gelukt! Het is zeker een aanrader!
