We stayed at the Zaza House as a big family with a grandma and a child included! The house is situated in a very beautiful and central place, it is walking distance to markets and restaurants, has an amazing huge terrace and a balcony to enjoy both Kavala and the sea view. The house has 3 big rooms and e everything you will need is already thought and available in the house from shampoos to toys! Just bring yourself as you’re coming to your own summer house. Miss Lina and her family was so kind and took wonderful care of us during our stay. Can’t wait to visit Kavala in this beautiful house again.

Angefangen von der Kommunikation (griechisch, englisch, deutsch...) vor Antritt der Reise bis zur Abfahrt war sehr sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und geradezu familiär. Lina ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die zwar nicht selbst vor Ort war, aber ihre Verwandtschaft (Tante Sacharoula (Fackelträgerin, Olympiasiegerin und mehrfache griechische Meisterin in Leichtathletik; Respekt !!) und Onkel Nikos) waren vor Ort und haben sich liebevoll um jedes Anliegen gekümmert. Bei der Ankunft (nachts um 23 Uhr) waren Kaffee, Ost, Gemüse und Getränke für den kommenden Morgen vorhanden. Die Wohnung selbst ist angenehm groß und hat einen Südbalkon. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Drei große Schlafzimmer mit Schränken für genügend Platz für die Koffer, eine offene Küche mit Wohnzimmer, ein Bad. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet. An allen Fenstern ist Insektenschutz vorhanden. Der Clou: gegenüber der Etagenwohnung gelangt man auf eine geschätzte 80 qm große Dachterrasse mit wahnsinnigem Ausblick. Dort steht stehen zwar Sonnenkollektoren, die aber nicht weiter stören. Wer möchte kann dort sitzen, seinen Kaffee und den Ausblick genießen. Informationen zu Kavala, Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten in und um Kavala und weitere Tipps hat Lina in einem Ordner zusammengestellt und die Tipps sind tatsächlich empfehlenswert. Ich habe bestimmt noch einige entgegenkommende Sachen nicht erwähnt, Fakt ist aber: falls beim nächsten Kavala-Besuch die Wohnung zur Verfügung stehen sollte würde ich mich freuen wieder bei Lina, Sacharoula und Nikos zu verweilen. Großes Lob!

Apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had all what we needed there. The Host was very friendly and answered all our questions- very helpfully.

Everything was perfect during our 9 day stay! Check in was friendly and efficient with excellent communication with Lina before and during our stay. The apartment is VERY CLEAN, spacious and very well equipped. Kitchen and bathroom were perfect, nothing was missing in the apartment with a lot of extras provided. Upon arrival fridge was stocked with water, juice, milk, fruit and vegetables. Cookies, coffee, tea, olive oil, salt, pepper were also provided. The air conditioning was quiet and worked well and was very clean. The outdoor space is comfortable with a nice view of the sea. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and a 5 minute drive from Kavala centre. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Parking on the street outside the apartment can be a challenge but with a little creativity you learn how to park like the locals (ie on the sidewalk) so we always found somewhere to park.
