Cozy, greek, comfortable, calm. A lovely home!

Perfect home for your Greek holiday. Beautiful inside and out, spacious, clean. Energy inside is pure and clean, and the atmosphere inside makes you calm and rested. I loved the terrace and the little balcony on the street side. Beds are comfortable and I slept like a baby. Kitchen is well equipped and really appreciated Maria’s little treats left there for us. Undoubtedly, an excellent choice for a stay.

A wonderful holiday

The apartment was wonderful, with all the facilities. The position was very close to the beach and to the old town. Our host, Maria, was very helpful, she gave us all the details about Kavala, all the places to visit, the location of the supermarkets, public transportation, everything we need to know. In addition, we had cookies and drinks. Thank you very much, Maria!

At first, I was a bit skeptical about Kavala, but thanks to Maria, our wonderful hostess, our holiday turned out to be fantastic. Maria was a true gem, providing us with valuable recommendations, brochures, and helpful tips that made our trip memorable. She introduced us to some incredible nearby beaches like Nea Iraklitsa, Ammolofoi, and Batis, which were definitely worth visiting. While Rapsani Beach was nice, it didn't quite make it to the top of our list. One of the must-see attractions was the city citadel, offering breathtaking views from the top. Maria's brochures also guided us to some beautiful nature walks for those who enjoy outdoor activities. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. We were a group of seven people, and there was ample room for all of us. The highlight was the charming terrace, where we could sit back and enjoy late-night glasses of wine.

While it's unrelated to the property itself, it's important to note that having a car is highly recommended for an optimal experience. Many of the nearby attractions are conveniently close to Kavala but located outside the city, making a car essential for easy access.

I spent 10 nights with my family. The host, Maria made sure that we had a wonderful holiday and was very responsive to our needs and provided us with many information about where to go and what to visit. Everything was very nicely arranged, clean location and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Maria, for everything and for the sweets. :)

My friends and me enjoyed Kavala because we've seen it through its people's eyes. Maria host us the best possible way: prepared a clean appartment, cozy beds, and gave us tips on places to be seen ( beaches, the old city center ). Just near the appartment it's a pizza restaurant with tasty recipes. After each day we relaxed on the nice appartment's terrace, sharing impressions and planning the next day's adventure. To sum up, we had all ingredients for a great holiday!

Cozy refurbished flat with a sunny sheltered terrace in a nice neighborhood. Comfortable beds, nice new bed linen. Plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen, hospitable hosts who have made it easy for the guests by leaving maps and brochures for museums and attractions. This is the best organized place I have ever booked. So big thank you to Maria!

Really worth it

The Old Salt is a fantastic apartment that offers everything you might need. Athanassios and Maria made sure that we had a wonderful holiday - they had left coffee, cookies, wine, and beer for us. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. The terrace is great to spend time on. I highly recommend The Old Salt and we will certainly return there.

We stayed here for two days and enjoyed it. It was really a beautiful house in a good neighbourhood of Kavala. There are bakery and a big supermarket near the house. You have everything you need in the house, plus extra staff that Maria left for us. Thank you for everything!

Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde. 🌊🌊🌊 Maria, die Gastgeberin, ist einfach großartig: herzlich, hilfsbereit und voller wertvoller Tipps. Die Willkommenssnacks waren eine schöne Geste und haben uns sofort willkommen fühlen lassen. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Die Lage ist ruhig, aber trotzdem zentrumsnah – alles war bequem erreichbar.
