Great place to stay if you want to do the volcano hike

Great stay here and close to the volcano, so did a great hike with guide Katut. Not an early start compared to the hikers that come from e.g. Ubud. Komang and Madie at reception were very helpful and nice and took me on complimentary rides to the temple and the hot springs. I had a great time!

A beautiful and clean Villa with complete amenities and facilities

Sunrise and sunset view of Mount & Lake Batur from the balcony were awesome! Located in quiet place, the villa has a complete set amenities - more than I expected; from toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo, set of towels, tea and coffee, water cooker, a small fridge, slippers even a drying rack. The villa has beautiful and really spacious bedrooms, couches, smart tv, strong wifi, dining table and the most important: everywhere is clean. They also provided room services with foods delivered from their own restaurant.

The road to reach the villa location from main road is rough and narrow, really need a skilfull and experienced driver in Bali to drive a car and park in front of the villa.

Remote location with flies, flies and flies

Breathtaking views, kind staff. Base location for mount batur trekking.

The villa can not control it but the flies are really preventing from doin anything outside of the room. Due to the onion farms there are billions of flies. Further no restaurants or much to do around the place. Also I had no hot water.

Villa overlooking the lake but too many flies!

Great spacious room with views overlooking the lake. The guy on reception was really helpful offering to drop us at the canoeing place south of the lake and then collected us to take us to the hot springs, and then collected us again to return us to the hotel. The pool looked nice but was too cold to go swimming and too many flies.

I had read in the reviews about the number of flies but really wasn’t prepared for the sheer amount of them at the property and in the area. This made eating any food including breakfast extremely difficult and not relaxing. Lots of flies enter the room upon entering but with some room spray this was easily fixed. However the number of bodies that remain around the bed throughout our stay wasn’t appealing! Food is very basic but the staff are helpful. There’s nowhere to walk to around the hotel, it is literally in the middle of nowhere. The access road to the hotel is really bad, you need a 4x4 to not damage your car!

It has to be mentioned that the surrounding farms use a fertiliser that attracts ALOT of flies. Be prepared to be swarmed when you are outside

Good place to get to know around Batur.

Great place to stay and connect with Nature and get to know around Batur Lake. 1 or 2 nights recommended. They have a great breakfast and decent lunch or dinner. Personal is really helpful. Highly recommended to book the Jeep or the Hike to the Volcano.

To the owner, you need to sort out the house flies issue. A closed space to eat during the day is a must. I know is not the hotel s fault but is really annoying.

Pleasant stay, inconvenient location

Lovely views of the lake from the villa. Staff friendly & were always available to help with things we asked for, even organising the trek for us last minute (8pm the night before) Mi-Goreng breakfast was very nice & flavoursome one of the best we've had in Bali! Highlight was the Mt Batur trek with Wishnu - highly recommend asking for him if you go we had a great time :)

Road to get to the villa was off the main road, long, very bumpy and difficult to get to (the locals will be able to make it through though) Room facilities were very old (shower & TV) however only stayed for a night so was bearable Location is in the middle of no where so not really any where nearby to eat or go, was difficult and expensive to get a taxi to the main area and back

Great stay, nice views, super peaceful

Super quiet, clean rooms, soft comfy beds, spacious bathrooms and a nice pool with mountain views. Staff arranged for a birthday decoration for my girlfriend in the room plus floating breakfast next morning.

As mentioned in the description the last 200meters on the road are rocky and bumpy. Arrived there by bike without problems though. Many flies in the outside areas, but not much you can do about it, as its like that all over Kintamani.

Lovely secluded property with a view to enjoy.

Great view from the property, located at one of the tips of the lake with amazing Mountain View. The property has spacious clean rooms with a huge balcony. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was nice.

The road to the property is still not developed, gets tricky getting to the property. It is under development though, and I presume should be ready in a few months. Flies can be nuisance, but is expected in those areas.

Beautiful and clean stay close to the lake, best spot to stay for a Mount Batur trekking!

The staff is super friendly, great location, nice food. Made even arranged a kite for my fiancé which brought back a lot of good childhood memories, thank you!! We really recommend staying here for the night to do your Mount Batur trekking.

Beautiful place in a beautiful surrounding

Beautiful villa alongside the lake. We had the two bedroom villa which was very comfortable. The tiny restaurant serves nice food and staff is very attentive.

The road up to the villa is somehow challenging and you might feel being a participant in the Dakar rally. It is hardly impossible to eat the breakfast outside due to the huge number of flies immediately swarming around your food.

Exceptional

The view from the pool is a big WOWWWW! But the staff were also really nice and helpful. The food was good (may be a a larger choice could be better but what was on the menu was good) We sincerely enjoy staying there for few days.

The shower was really not nice to use. It was about impossible to have hot water and when we finally find a position to have hot water it was hot enough to cook pasta for few seconds than water came cold after few seconds. So owner should pay more attention to the shower installation because it was kind of dangerous. Other than that everything was perfect and I think we could not have choose a better place for our 3 night stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The lake and mountain views were amazing. The swimming pool brought relief on hot days. The restaurant served delicious meals and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking in and out were quick and easy.

Our rooms were not serviced or cleaned, which meant dirty coffee cups and unmade beds when we returned from our sunrise trek.

Peaceful and close to nature

We got so much love in this place, it’s beyond imagination! We stayed here for 7 nights, it was a great location to take time away from the busy life! My family received care and love as if we are were their own. The lake is awesome and views of the mountain is breathtaking. Go to Kintamani for Mount Batur but extend your stay for Villa Jempana. Worth every bit!

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic Bali experience. Hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant menu is slightly limited but the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. This place was the highlight of our trip.

Great place for a comfortable stay at Lake Batur

Excellent ambience and facilities with lovely views overlooking Lake Batur. Our 2 bedroom villa was spacious and had a balcony with great views all around. Breakfast and dining terrace and structure were great to enjoy all round views and weather

An absolute must stay.

The setting was stunning! We had mountain views from our room as well as from the restaurant and pool. The room was huge and exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were given a free scooter to drive around for the day. I woke up both days for sunrise. It was so beautiful to watch the mountains light up and listen to the birds and bali temple sounds in the background. A highlight of my Bali trip.

The Villa is very nice. Small, but nice rooms, nice decoration around the Villa and nice view of the Lake. The staff is very friendly and they offer free transportation to nearby touristic places which is great.

The food is not the greatest. Not bad, but nothing special. Location is a bit off the road but, as mentioned, they cover for that by helping with transportation if needed. The pool was extremely cold (but also understandable as the weather there is a bit colder than other parts of Bali).

Beautiful place to relax by the pool and enjoy stunning views.

Stunning views, lovely pool, very friendly and helpful staff. They organized the sunrise trek for us and arranged transportation to our next location. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great place to start the sunrise trek from (a lot closer than coming from other parts of Bali). It was an incredible place to stay for a couple of days of hanging out at a pool with an incredible view.

The property is quite isolated. There aren’t any restaurants or shops close by (except the hotel restaurant). And there isn’t really anywhere to go for a walk.
