The location is excellent and it was very spacious.
The wooden floors and a few scattered rugs made it a bit cosy.It was easy to walk to the waterfront, or into the city and El Cortes . It is located just up the street from Mushroom Street. The area has many bars, restaurants and cafes.
Parking was easy in the parking lot one block away.
The location is in the city centre beside the police station which made it very noisy, especially at night. The apartment has windows to the street on two sides which are not sound proof and provide quite a draft.
The apartment does need a few updates but is still quite acceptable.
The TV does not have any English channels and although new was not set up to allow for Comcast. The wifi was intermittent at times.

Spacious appartment with 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
The two airco units are not sufficient to provide the necessary cooling. The noise of the traffic around the building is rather annoying. Most facilities are there except for a washing machine, a bread knife and some sharp kitchen knives.

The location was very good and size of apartment was suitable for the number of people we were.
The apartment was not cleaned properly for quite some time and had a stale smell all over. Dishwasher was not working, the person showing the property actually told us very proudly, and it had perishable food remains ( 2 x bread and eggs) in the cupboards from previous guests. Blinds broken and broken electric socket in kitchen left untouched. The property would benefit from double glazing as that will prevent the noise and the wind getting into the property. I would suspect in winter it will be very cold staying there. We did not dare test the air conditioning, it looked old and it was quite dirty.
Despite my communication in English, the person providing the keys asked if we spoke Spanish and did not speak even basic English, so we had to resort to Google translate to make sure he understood he needs to be in the property 7:30 to give us back the deposit. I would stay away from this property unless there is nothing else available. It's a shame as Alicante is great!
