CHARLOT Center Apartment IV

The apartment looks great and the location is excellent. It’s close to the tram and train station, the city center, restaurants, and bars. It’s also spacious, renovated, and has two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a good kitchen.

Unfortunately, the stay itself was not as good as the apartment looks. The biggest problem was the very strong humidity smell. We noticed it as soon as we entered, and it got much worse every time the air conditioning was turned on. At some points, the smell was so bad that it was difficult to stay in the rooms comfortably. This is not a small issue and really needs to be fixed. The terrace is also misleading. It’s not really an outdoor terrace or balcony where you can sit and relax. It feels more like an enclosed part of the building. The construction work was another major problem. We were not informed about it at all before arriving, and every morning the noise started at exactly 8:00 AM and woke us up. This was extremely frustrating during a vacation. Closing the windows didn’t help and also was not really a solution either, because the AC made the humidity smell even worse. The apartment itself has a lot of potential, but the humidity smell and the construction noise had a big negative impact on our vacation. Because of that, we can’t give it a high rating.
