Alicante Skylights Apartments

Perfect location within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops and public transport. The apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The check-in was smooth, and the communication with the host was excellent. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views and the peaceful atmosphere. It was a perfect place to relax and explore Alicante.

The only small downside was that our apartment didn’t have a terrace, but it didn’t affect our overall experience.

Fabulous views of sea and city. Light and airy apartment. We stayed for twelve days so were glad of the full kitchen, which had a microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

The LCD display on the microwave is usually broken, so a lot is guess work needed to operate it and the oven temperature needs watching as you can easily burn food at settings that shouldn't burn.

The view was amazing and the bed comfortable.

Whenever I went to Spain I always received the most amazing hospitality services but this was not the case as the owner is not Spanish, it is German. So in accordance with that everything was very rigid: starting with the 150 euro deposit payment, it can only be done with Pay Pal, no Revolut, no bank transfer, no ApplePay, so I had to install the app, make an account, transfer money and make the payment to the only available payment method. After that I asked 3 times if a late check out was possible, first 2 times I was ignored, the 3rd time the answer was: "No, no luggage service provided." On arrival I received a message in German to where the keys from the apartment are. In the apartment there were no investments made, not very clean, dirty rug, a lot of broken things like the chairs on the balcony, the dryer. To use the washing machine I had to buy detergent as there was none provided. The rules stated that you have to wash the dishes and take out the trash or else you will not receive the deposit back. Where exactly, no one knows. No bottle of water, no fruits, sweets, nothing. I have never had such a cold, rude and unpleasant experience when renting in Spain, Spanish people are always so hospitable and caring, but this is not the case, I do not recommend this place.
