Beautiful location, comfortable and modern gasthof.

Amazing location, well worth the 45-60 minute hike uphill from the car park. A lot more healthy and vegetarian/vegan options than most gasthofs. Sauna with an amazing view.

The '30 minute walk from car park' advertised is an absolute minimum for superfit people who must be almost jogging. For most people, its 45 minutes to an hour, and being honest about this would have prevented disappointed customers and negative reviews.

A real Austrian Hideaway

This is a hideaway, clues in the name - clean room, typical Austrian mountain house. Beautiful!!

Beautiful location, but staff very inexperienced and breakfast expensive for what you get.

Beautifully located in a nature reserve in the alps. The hike to the hotel is worth it, but it is challenging (the steps during the first leg are the worst part). Definitely pay for luggage service. Our room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Food was tasty! The honesty bar is handy.

Some of the staff seemed to be very inexperienced and were overwhelmed at lunch and dinner service. Some of the staff seemed annoyed. There were tears when we asked the third time about our drinks that we ordered through their app with our dinner. The dinner arrived immediately but drinks were served 10 minutes after we had finished food🫢There was a bad vibe between some of the staff, and seemed to be a lot of miscommunication. We stayed four nights and the room was not cleaned once, not even to stock up on toilet paper, fresh towels or anything to that effect. The breakfast is 18 Euro per person per day and NOT included in the overnight price. The breakfast is quite sparse, with only cuts,bread and yoghurt. Supposed to have waffles and sweet cakes on offer, but never did during the days we stayed there. Such a shame the service brought down our experience of an otherwise beautiful hotel.

The Service staff was not competent at all. They had no idea How to manage the service. They were very nice and tried it hard but were not able to manage it. That is was a pity the management should invest more in the staff.

What a fantastic place! Totally recommend :)

Beautiful place, delicious food, fantastic friendly service! The sauna is an additional highlight making the place even more awesome. We loved it, and our one year old kid too!! Our stay was perfect, thank you so much :) We will be happy to come again and recommend it (it was also a recommendation from friends).

It was all great. If anything could be better, is that mountain shoes were allowed all over, which leaves some “mud crumbs”. Usually you wouldn’t even notice, but with a small kid that loves playing around in the ground, we thought it could be nice to make the part after the restaurant a “shoe-free zone”.

nice mountain location, beautiful place, immaculate clean and a good mixture classic-modern decoration. very friendly stuff!! cozy bedroom. breakfast and Tyrol soup was very good.

our room was a bit loud because it was next to the wooden stairs and above the sauna. homemade tasty food, but may be halfboard a bit expensive for us

Pleasant

The location of the property, being only accessibly by foot, and the landscape surrounding it, was a dream! The breakfast was good, and overall food quality as well. The cows and chickens in the backyard were a nice sight!

The smartphone ordering, check in and check out process needs a new system- lots of errors, confusion etc. Plus, do are folks who come to such a remote getaway really the right audience to be using such a system for?

Place to disconnect and recharge

This was our second time at Berg’k’hof hotel and we loved it just as much! The hike up (1h) is tough, but it’s worth it for sure. We loved the relaxation / games room, the staff is very friendly and attentive and the sauna with an incredible view tops it all off.

Bringing back the hot tub is about the only thing that would make this hotel even better.

Maybe I should have read the description better, but some of the rooms are sharing a common bathroom. Honestly this worked just fine but I hadn't spotted it (but also like I said I'm sure that was my bad!)

Exceptional

It was a perfect stay. The house is basically located in the mountains, you need to make a small hike to it from the parking stop(45 mins). The staff is very welcoming and attentive, the food is delicious and all common areas are cozy and have views of the mountains. The room itself was clean as well, the bed is very comfy and the balcony view is amazing. Near the house, there are a lot of different trails where you can hike. I would definitely want to go back there.

It was a beautiful place with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains in Austria.

We wasn’t aware about that it took us 1,5 hour from the parking lot to the residence, and it was quite hard to get there, so I only recommend this, if you are in a good and healthy condition.

Amazing hide away with spectalular views

Amazing hut in the mountain heart, stylish and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots to do even if bad weather: games, books and blocks in the shared leisure space. We travelled with kids, one of them 2,5 years old and managed to wander around. Loved this place and strongly recommend to stay there.

The trek to the hut was a bit of a challenge with our small kid, but definitely worth it!

Nice hotel in a beautiful valley

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is only reachable by walking, the surroundings are very beautiful! The rooms are clean and the food nice! Staff is great and friendly. They have some smart features to make your stay more comfortable as self check out, payment and food ordering. Definitely a nice spot for a weekend at the mountains!

took at least 30min to check in which was very annoying. receotion without stuff. booked the sauna for an private hour for a specific time, but it wasn’t ready at that time because they didn’t turn up the heat. we had to wait an hour. so lots of waiting and you have to run after the stuff

There is everything you need. Of course, be prepared to walk to the hotel but it's worth the view from hotel. Polite and friendly staff, cozy, clean, fresh rooms, cool restaurant. And nice local cats.

Rather long check in process- we got registration form when we were already on our way so it took some time to check in in tablet for all 5 guests. Also there was delay with getting Kufstein card- I got it only on last day when I visited tourist information centre personally.
