Carapelli Apartments

Fantastic air conditioning!!! Walkable to many of the best places in Florence (10-15 minutes from the duomo, ponte vecchio bridge, the accademia, and about 20 minutes from Santa Maria Novella train. Love that it had a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. Also has two a/c units. Great for a family of 3-4 guests. Has a washer and dryer on the 1st floor, and a modern elevator lift for help with luggage.

The location was exceptional. It is located within close walking distance to everything. The apartment is on a side street where there is no traffic nor bars - so it was very quiet. Perfect.

The water pressure in the shower was not so good.

Very quiet and easy walking distance to central sites. Washer AND dryer!

Needed AI to figure out how to use stove. Once I did, I loved it. The freezer in 1 of the apartments was frozen over and would not close. Getting the AC to work also took some trial and error.

Location was great. Very walkable to lots of the squares.

I was informed a few days before my stay the grotto hot tub was not working. This was a big reason why I rented this place. Never got a reply when I inquired if it would be fixed by the time of our stay. I was hoping to get some sort of refund because I was not able to use it! So disappointed!! It was so pretty too and would have felt amazing after a long day walking around! There were also over 20 air fresheners throughout this apartment. Anyone with a sensitive nose would not have been able to stay. No idea what smell they were trying to cover up but it was so weird. There was nothing inviting at all about the terrace area. Finally the second "bedroom" is a pull out couch - not an actual bed! They really should just put a regular bed in that bedroom. Extremely uncomfortable!!!!
