Comfortable stay at Carapelli Apartments

This was my 4th time at Carapelli apartments and I appreciate its location, all conveniences, easy check in. The apartment was spacious, well furnished and equipped with all necessities, windows - noise proof, everything was functional (I stayed in winter and heating worked very well), staff was very responsive to all questions and requests.

The light window curtains need to be washed or replaced, they were really dusty, stained and torn. Really disappointing in a nice apartment like that.

Large apartment perfect for couples or families.

Ample apartment in a wonderful location. We used the unusual pool in basement ‘grotto’ once (not a hot tub, but heated and has hydro jets). We enjoyed our stay!

Very good - lovely apartment in a lovely city

I’m sure the people above us were not particularly noisy but you could hear the furniture scraping along the tiled floor and if anything was dropped it sounded like the roof was falling in - I’m sure the people below us felt the same about our movements. The folk above seemed to keep different hours to us so we heard them a lot when we were trying to sleep.

Nice and new except no washing machine as indicated.

New and spacious

Bookings.com listed it has a Washing machine and photos showed washing machines but we had no washing machine. We traveled for 4 weeks and really needed this washing machine in the middle of our holiday. There was No washing machine and when I asked the property I got no answer. There is no one in any reception area so I couldn’t ask in person.

Location and number of beds

The washer and dryer were not in the room, like it made it sound online. They were right outside the room 2 washers 1 dryer but the dryer didn’t work. There wasn’t enough towels

The pool was amazing and the location was perfect.

The stove top did not work but we then used the oven. They could have given us more refuse bags as we were there for 3 nights. But we made do.

Location is great. About 20 mins walk to the station. Close to all the sights. Great layout and easy electronic access. Restaurants are nearby and quiet at night.

The property overall was good. A few things advertised were not quite right. Laundry is shared, no clothes airer in room. Couldn't use hair dryer in bathroom as plug didn't work. Shower was dirty and mouldy and air conditioning did not work in main bedroom. Shower head is faulty and suits dwarfs.

Moisture torture

Location, elevator , sheets were clean, 1 hour early check in.

I know it’s not up to host but smell of the bedroom is really bad, i put my souvenir soups to nightstand to avoid it. But every time i went to the bedroom is torture. Mosquitoes(they were easy to smack down but 6 inside then we never open the window again) I stayed 5 different places in this Italy trip this is the first time i did not get welcome drink or any coffee

loved the location of this great apartment . 2 floors - main bedroom downstairs and twin beds upstairs with a bonus roof top lookout bench . we saw the fireworks ! fab kitchen and dining area and walk to major landmarks . host was very good with communication. highly recommend.

good location for small family

good for a small family. very comfortable beds, dark out curtains.

they obviously get booked often. some things could use some TLC from the other guests. little things start to fall apart from a lot of use (or abuse). I alerted the management and they were happy to help quickly. (we opt-out the fixes, as it didn’t bother us much)

Florence Carapelli Apartments

This apartment is very well located. Close to the attractions route but on a quiet street. It is modern and spacious with excellent air conditioning. There is a shared laundry with everything needed and good kitchen facilities if you want to cook. The host does not interfere with your stay. I thought the agreement was very intimidating at first, but it was not a problem.

Previous guests had not taken care and there was some damage in the bathroom. Please be careful guests! We found some cookware didn't work with the induction cook top, however there were plenty that did.

Very good

We loved the location and the fact that the apartments and the building are beautifully renovated. The laundry room on the ground floor was a plus. We really enjoyed being so close to the Santa Croce neighborhood.

The apartment is clean and spacious for a family of 4 not five. One bathroom was not enough for us. Also I did not like the bedsheets and pillows. They should definitely invest in good bedsheets, pillows and a mirror. If someone is in the washroom there are no mirrors to get ready.

10+ stars! Wonderful location and very comfortable apartment!

Our family of four absolutely loved everything about this apartment!!! Perfect location— easily walkable to everything. Our daughters loved having their own space upstairs. The air conditioning worked very well, and the host was very responsive. Self check- in was seamless, and having access to the washer and dryer (downstairs in the common area) was very convenient! Would definitely stay here again.

A great stay

Location was perfect (a quiet street near many sights), easy check-in and check-out, the staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious (there were four of us and there was plenty of room), and the kitchen was well-equiped (except for a wine opener). Fortunately, the AC worked without problems, and the laundry room was a nice addition. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Little things, like the dishwasher not working, no wine opener, not enough toilet paper (an easy fix: the grocery store was only 3 minutes away, which was great).

A door code was provided for the outside of the property and another code to collect the key card for the apartment. Good facilities, everything you need. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

Stylish, spacious apartment in an excellent location.

Very spacious, modern apartment with plenty of air and light. The beds were large and comfortable both in the bedroom and the sofa bed. The apartment had two bathrooms: fantastic for a family of four. The kitchen was adequately supplied; could have been a few more utensils. Wifi was excellent: didn't drop out and was accessible throughout the apartment. Location was 10/10: minutes walking distance to everywhere significant, except, perhaps supermarkets, which were a bit out of theway.

I didn't like the stools in the kitchen. They were too high. I would prefer lower chairs with a back. I didn't like the bulbous table lamps which protruded from the table and were in danger of being knocked off.

It was spacious. And comfortable. But we did have a problem with mosquitoes. We got about 50 bites while we were there in the apartment. We could see them flying around. Other than that everything went well.

Nicely finished apartment in central location

Perfect location if you want to be close to the main attractions. The property is nicely finished and quiet with good blackout curtain. The staff is responsive. Very accessible with a lift.

Nothing critical but the property could be more thoroughly checked between guests to make sure there are amenities available such as dishwasher tablets and drains are unblocked. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the TV wasn’t connected to the internet so you can’t watch Netflix etc.

Great home to explore Florence.

The apartment and location were great! It was very clean and a comfortable home away from home.

The apartment was generally noisy with other guests. We stayed in apartment 3 and heard every movement of the other guests above and next to us. This occurred all night and interrupted sleep. This was our only dislike. Not sure if it was overly noisy or the insulation between apartments is minimal. Either way it was loud.

there wasn’t enough toiletries in all our rooms…apartment 1 has 6 of us and there was only 3 toilet papers so we had to buy some. In our apartment 4 only had 2 and there’s always someone walking and moving furniture above our room at all times, no matter if it’s day or late at night.

Mixed feelings but good overall

The apartment is very spacious, there is 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, lot's of amenities, everything was nice and clean. Huge thumbs up for the pool, we liked it very much!

The last bedroom was very cold and smelled like putrid so we used the living rooms couch for sleeping.

I stayed in the apartment with terrace and private pool. Large size apartment could comfortably sleep 4-6 people. Nice garden terrace with multiple chairs and tables. Has two kitchens. Two and a half bathrooms. Pool is good. Luke warm, has jets. But wouldn't call it a hot tub. Good restaurant next door. Clean. Safe.

Usually would have some coffee/tea for this kind of accommodation, didn't have anything. FYI, washer and dryer are not inside the apartment, would have been good to know this ahead of time. W/D are in a common area.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Although quite a distance away from train station and bus stops, the location is very central.

Too far from the nearest bus stops, so we to lug our luggage through the streets in the wet weather. Quite distressing if you are visiting this city for the first time.
