A cosy and welcoming stay in one of the most beautiful towns in England!

We have been staying in Reeth for the last six years so we were looking forward to being more central to Richmond this year! Our highlights were: - the easy walking access into town. Yes hilly, but really direct to all amenities! Easy to both walk and drive to shops, river or swimming pool. - the house was spotlessly clean with everything that we needed, including a bottle of milk and wine!! (Fantastic after a three and a half hour drive so thank you!) - owners were very communicative and friendly. Just knowing they were a few streets west gave peace of mind! We did not need to contact owners, but feel confident that any issues would have been addressed promptly. - Great being able to park on a drive! We have been visiting Richmond for nearly forty years, with family living here since the 1800s. Having a new base, we are hopefully able to continue visiting for years to come 😊

It was great, went up to Richmond for a wedding but much enjoyed exploring the town & Swaledale

Location near shops etc, house was warm and comfortable, quiet neighbourhood

Shower was a little disapointing - not much pressure, more like a dribble. Provide a kitchen compost caddy

We had a great stay in the house, It was super clean.

House very clean, all kitchen equipment in place. A bottle of wine and milk in the fridge very welcome. The house was in a great location for our busy weekend.

The only but small problem was in the bathroom, the water flow from the shower was a bit slow, It could do with a bit of up grading. The bath towels could have been a bit bigger.

A home from home, with a beautiful view.

The house was in the perfect location for us, both close to town and family. The view from the bedroom window was beautiful, especially at sunset. The hosts communicated exceptionally from start to finish, and had ensured we had everything we needed and more in the property. Fantastic holiday home.

Fantastic cottage at the top of Richmond. Near to town to walk and an ideal base for exploring. Lots of information and dog friendly.
