Never going back again

property itself is beautiful but restroom was full of mosquitoes and it stunk in there.

Customer service. received Check in details last minute and was on the phone for hours which made our trip really stressful

A perfect place to lay your head after a busy day in the dales.

We liked the location, nice and close to the aminaties but out far enough to feel like the middle of the countryside.

The decking needs a clean and maybe a gate on the decking area for those parent with toddlers peace of mind.

A nice place but was overpriced especially given the fact the site was incomplete and like a building site.

Nice place, located off the main street

The park was incomplete and had 5 bays with no lodges. There was also 1 lodge in the corner which was undertaking building work. The owner had a Range Rover and at 8am on Sunday morning had it revving with music blaring which wasnt acceptable for my £435 weekend stay

mixed feelings

The location was great very private and quiet obviously we were self catering so made our own breakfast

we got a bit cold in the evening and couldn’t get the heating to come on the tv in the master bedroom wouldn’t work and also i don’t think we should have to strip our own beds we’re there for a short break and for the price we paid we weren’t expecting to do our own cleaning

Relaxing and beautiful.

Based in the beautiful town of Gargrave and near to Skipton and only 15 mins from the peak of the Yorkshire Dales. Beautiful sceneary and near to many other towns. Lodge was lovely and clean and easy to get too. Great directions of how to get there and get the key. Very peaceful and relaxed location. Modern looking inside and very comfy for the few days we were there. We didnt do much walking in the local area as we were busy in other places during the day. But next time we will def take a closer look.

I see they are putting up more lodges on the site. To create more privacy I would suggest the sitting area to be not all in the same facing direction.

Lovely Lodge

After a terrible journey, we were happy to get to a well lit and heated lodge. It was beautifully decorated and well equipped with a utility room. Beds were comfortable with fresh lining. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. We needed a highchair and cot for our 6 month old, which was requested and provided on arrival.

Lack of wi-fi, however we were aware of this when we booked.. Also no instructions for the TV in the bedrooms. We unfortunately couldn't get this working until the last night.

Fantastic family break

We had the most amazing stay at Squirrel Lodge. The lodge was presented so well and everything was done to such a high standard. It had all the facilities needed and check in/out was so fuss free. The lodge is in easy reach of the amenities in a lovely little village. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
