Great walks in the area

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location, although we were very unlucky with the extremely wet weather.

Compact and cosy. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, finished to a high standard. The pillows were great and the furnishings were lovely. The welcome pack was great and very useful. Parking space was good.

The bed mattress was much higher in the centre of the bed, resulting in almost rolling out of the bed during one night. As I suffer from spinal arthritis it was particularly difficult to get a comfortable night sleep. Walked to the local pub on both Monday & Tuesday evenings, looking forward to a hearty pub meal, but each occasion the pub was shut. Not the property’s fault but a forward notice would have been welcomed, if possible, as having a pub within walking distance was one of the reasons we booked this property as advertised. We can’t comment on the ‘staff’ as we didn’t meet the owners at all during our stay.

A lovely, relaxing stay in a comfortable studio, we’d happily return.

The studio was spotless, very comfortable and well equipped. With a great location for walks and exploring the area. Being pet-friendly was a real bonus.

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Clean. Furnished to a high standard. Comfy bed and sofa. Lovely little covered patio and our yorkie adored having his own little field to run about in. Fabulous communication from the owners and the welcome pack was appreciated. Ideal stay for a lovely Christmas market weekend.

Great cute place

Was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen where we cooked a hello fresh meal. The shower was amazing and was large enough for 2 people. Sky TV (but have to ask for a pin for anything above a PG) had parking outside. A lovely little stream goes by with an area for my dog to play. Good communication by the owner who was just next door. Was cute, perfect get away.

The sofa smells a bit funky. Don't know if a dog has peed on it in the past The pillows were a bit flat and I think we're feathers. Heating is air con so I had to keep boosting to get it warm. Negotiating the run up to the drive was tight, narrow but that's not their fault. I needed a sieve for rice.

Very enjoyable except the bed.

Loved the eggs, butter, bread and milk. We thought this was a more personal touch than a bottle of wine and some biscuits. Thank you. The property and location was extremely good and well equipped.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good nights sleep. The mattress was very soft which we're not used to and I think it was a memory foam mattress which made me very hot, but that could be just me. Sorry. I spent the night on the sofa bed sat up which was reasonably comfortable.

Great studio in a lovely setting

Great Studio apartment with everything you would need for a couple of days stay. Very well equipped with some nice touches like milk in the fridge and eggs. Although a little tricky to drive into it was nice to have a car parking space right outside the studio.

The only thing we are questioning is when leaving being asked to "strip the bedding" and "take care of rubbish"!? We have experienced this recently and know that it is a topic of debate. Literally didn't know what, "take care of rubbish" meant? There wasn't a visible bin outside. And although it takes less than a minute to "strip the bedding" isn't this part of the service?

Lovely accommodation.

The accommodation was fantastic and ideal for a couple with or without a pet,everything you wanted to make your stay comfortable was catered for. On arrival the fridge was stocked with essentials so you didn't have to do a shop. Good tea and coffee set up. Tv and WiFi. Really comfortable bed. Shower and toilet was spacious and immaculate as was the kitchen and living area. Really nice appliance's good spec. The accommodation was nice and private with good parking just outside. We liked everything so no complaints. Thank you Mel for a pleasant stay. We will definitely return to stay again in the future. Kind regards, Dave and Denise.

Absolutely amazing!

We had an amazing stay, the accommodation is fantastic, pretty studio inside and out, very well equipped with everything we needed, spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, large powerful shower, close to local amenities and the location is quiet with beautiful scenery and a perfect base for travelling further afield and exploring the Yorkshire dales. There is a car charger which is ideal for those in an EV like us. The hosts Mel and Jason are lovely, kind and very helpful and the bread, butter and eggs in the fridge were appreciated and the beautiful flowers too. We couldn't ask for a better stay, well worth the money, we would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning.

Excellent, would definitely stay again, I couldnt find fault with the studio or the hosts

Before we arrived we were given perfect directions, the studio was spotlessly clean, everything thing worked as it should and the hosts had left, bread butter and eggs in the fridge. Everything in the studio was like new, excellent shower and more than enough kitchen appliances and utensils. The studio is an ideal location, just a 5 minutes drive from Skipton and the local village has a shop and pub.

The road to the property is quite narrow, but I have a large van, if you are in a car then it would be fine.

The studio was immaculately clean, it was well equipped and in a fab village. The hosts had left us some milk & other bits which were very welcome. Excellent and we'll be back!

Very well presented, good facilities. Quiet location and nice garden area.

The only slight issue was that the blinds didn’t block out the light from a nearby street light. A curtain over the window would have made it perfect.

A lovely well contained studio apartment in quiet location

The layout of the property was great, contained everything we needed. The little courtyard was lovely. Mel the host was very friendly. Very peaceful location. Weather was vey warm so the air conditioning was very welcomed.

Comfortable stay, spotlessly clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Nice touch from hosts leaving buns, butter, eggs and milk in the fridge. Also a vase of flowers. Good parking, lovely location. Had an excellent meal at Hare and Hounds in nearby Lothersdale - recommended by hosts - thank you.

The quality of the furnishings were excellent. There were lots of plugs and the studio was missing nothing. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The bed settee was uncomfortable for the kids despite the extra mattress topper. Also some of the air fresheners were a bit pungent but that is being really picky.

The eggs, bread, butter and milk left for us was greatly appreciated. Location was just what we wanted to walk into Skipton. Beautiful walk and surrounded area.
