The house was spotless and lovely and warm when we arrived. It had everything we needed .it was a 20 minute walk into town centre. Beds were comfortable. We had a problem with the smoke alarm keep going off due to a fault but the owner sorted it as soon as id messaged him and let us check out a hour later.
The throw blanket in lounge smelt of dog and the one on the bed was also dirty with stains .the road is a little noisy but its a main road so thats to be expected

Comfortable bed, cleanliness, great location
Noise from traffic on busy road

Beautiful clean and spacious house and has everything you needed. within walking distance to the town centre down the canal which was much quieter than the main road
Road could be noisy at times but quieter on the night time, the yard was a little small for a larger dog to go potty but there is a grassy area about 20 steps away so not a huge issue in the end.

Very clean and spacious with great facilities. Lovely bath to relax in and a well equipped kitchen.
The traffic noise was nonstop although it was similar to white noise so we slept well.

Really comfortable! Great size for what we needed. Well equipped kitchen.
Could have had more cleaning supplies. E.g more washing up liquid!

Dale Edge was comfortable and warm. We found it easy to park. A quick walk along the canal took us to the centre of Skipton and we even saw an otter!

Absolutely nothing.

location was great for Skipton and access out to the Dales for great places to visit and walking.
Locely cottage with good facilities and comfy.
The road was quite busy , but other reviews had made us aware of this.
Some info for check out could have been helpful ie. rubbish disposing and whether to strip beds etc (we like to be helpful!!)

Beautiful little cottage. Nicely decorated and modern. Very comfortable, cosy and clean. Just a short level walk into the town centre, near the station and 2 decent sized supermarkets for provisions.
Nick very responsive and super helpful and went out of his way to sort out a minor niggle.
A dishwasher would be a welcome addition but not essential. Absolutely no complaints. 😃

Lovely & homely property very comfortable
Need outside light at the front door / very busy road to cross

Spacious living area, well equipped kitchen.
No where to hang wet coats, poor parking.

Dales Edge was very comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we needed. We liked the separate shower and cloakroom facility downstairs and also the outdoor seating area.
The parking is the worst problem, although we generally found a space in one of the side roads.

Well equipped and very clean house with ample free parking. Great location for canal walks into town
Some noise from the busy road was the only downside

The property was lovely, modern and clean. Had everything we needed.
The seat covers on the dinning table were quite damaged and didn’t look good.
The road noise was quite bad too (although this isn’t the properties fault)

The house was very comfortable. I had inquired in advance about specific kitchen implements and Nick responded quickly, so we were able to plan accordingly. A couple of things came up during our stay and, again, Nick responded quickly.
It wasn’t clear in the property photos, at least to me, that the house is on a main road. The vehicle noise was noticeable but not disruptive.

Our 6th time at Dales Edge over the last few years.
A great location for a base to explore the dales.
The property has everything we need and is always comfortable.
A little decorative maintenance is required, specifically in the living room.

It had everything we needed for our holiday.
Very busy road, very noisy day and night, very little sleep it was that loud.

Lovely house, had everything you could need for a short stay. Nice courtyard to enjoy some evening sunshine. Close to the canal to walk into the town centre.
Unfortunately windows are closed due to some road noise so upstairs can get warm. A minor issue and there are roof fans.

Nothing to dislike. The only gripe I had was no information sheet for fire and another tea towel would have been handy as no dishwasher but only minor things

The house was lovely and clean and everything we needed for our short stay a 15-20minute walk to the centre of Skipton recommend doing it along the canal path rather than the main road
The house is on a very busy road so traffic noise a bit of an issue also the hot water in was not consistent would run hot then cold with seconds

One of the cleanest places I've stayed in and really nicely decorated. Lots of space and light and was perfect for me,my husband and our 1 year old. Plenty of free on street parking nearby and only a 10 min walk along the canal into town. Loved it!

Very cosy accommodation, spotless & situated c.10 min walk from town centre. Our days were spent walking for hours so it was a lovely place to just crash & get our heads down. Would highly recommend.
It was on a main road and bedrooms were on the front so some road noise but not really impactive since we arrived home shattered.

Perfect location, walks along the canal to the town centre. Supermarkets close as well as shops & restaurants.
Lack of cooking utensils however didn't hinder making family meals in the evening.

Such a lovely comfy house very spacious and modern very good value for money . Don't let the noise reviews put you off we hardly heard the traffic and it didn't affect anyone's sleep
I would of given a 10 but there was no dressing table to dry my hair etc so had to buy a mirror to sit at dining table . As can't stand up for long

A well set up house, with good quality fittings.
If you are someone affected by traffic noise, this may not be your best choice.

The house was well presented and loved the small garden at the back. Easy to walk into Skipton via the canal.
The noise from the road was a bit annoying

Good location. Lovely and warm. Comfy sofa and bed.
Bath pretty but a bit short and water doesnt get quite hot enough for a soak. You might find the road a bit noisy ...we were ok with it. Bedside lights are coming which is great!
