The pod was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Lucy and Dave were friendly and attentive hosts. The pod was equipped with everything we needed, and included lovely touches such as board games and walking guides to peruse. We opted for the breakfast hamper which was full of fresh, high-quality ingredients that made for a delicious big breakfast. I would highly recommend The Dales Gateway Retreat.

Location great.
The pod was excellent. My family loved it here. Very clean.
Lucy was welcoming & helpful. Lots of little extras that really helped that you wouldn't necessarily get at other accommodations (shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste etc).
Having a fridge & microwave also really helps, as we can sort the kids breakfast as soon as they're hungry.
Wifi was a bit poor, but wasn't too fussed about this to be honest.

Very clean, warm and comfortable luxury pod. Has everything you need, even toothpaste which we've never had before. Lovely village location with places to eat nearby and a 10 minute drive to Skipton or a 5 mile walk along the canal which took us less than an hour and a half. Easy private parking and Lucy the host was lovely, available to help and not at all intrusive. Being pet free was a bonus as my partner has allergies. I wish we could have stayed a week. We'll definitely be back.
Having to go back home to Middlesbrough.
