Hosts were friendly and helpful. We met them out and about and had a good conversation about the area and parking options, as it was the annual Christmas fayre and light switch on, so many roads were going to be closed. The owner was very chatty and served a good breakfast

Wouldn’t consider booking there in the future.

Our booking was cancelled at 11am on the day we were due to go, due to the fact there was no electricity! Had to find an alternative accommodation.

We walked past it the day after. It looked very uninviting, quite drab. In fact we were very relieved that the booking had been cancelled.

Lovely clean warm and well looked after. Great breakfast and very welcoming.

The bed had head and foot boards I’m 5’11” and like to sleep on my front. Can’t sleep on my side because of knee pain, so the bed wasn’t comfortable for me.

The room was exactly as it appeared on the photographs and was spotless. All the main Ironbridge attractions are within walking distance. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

Elinor & Sean very welcoming. Very clean, plenty of toiletries in shower.

Maybe update duvet cover. Asked for full English breakfast received; 1 sausage, 1 bacon rasher, 1 fried egg and choice of beans or tomato. No mushrooms, hash browns, black pudding. 2nd day I swapped tomato for 2 rashers.

Perfect quiet stay in the heart of Ironbridge

Great location and definitely a bonus to have free parking on site. Our hosts were lovely. No air conditioning but not needed as we had a lovely cool room at the back of the house. Love the quirky garden and the way the property is decorated.

Our room was too light for me to sleep well as I am super sensitive to light at night, but that was my fault for forgetting a sleep mask.

Lovely old house, lovely host, spotlessly clean

This beautiful old house is in the perfect position on the river between 2 lovely pubs serving amazing food. It is immaculately presented & the garden is intriguing. The host was just lovely, the room spotlessly clean & we found the firm mattress very comfortable indeed. The en-suite deserves special praise with its caramel/cream tiles, quality towels, excellent sparkling clean hot shower & nice shampoo etc. Breakfast, ordered the night before, arrived hot, tasty, fresh & nicely presented.

Very little really. It was lovely. Like any old house this has its quirks. The stairs to the bedrooms are unusually steep, & tricky if you have mobility problems. Being by a river with a flood history it smells a bit musty in places. I doubt much can be done. It wouldn't stop me returning. It would benefit from better lighting in the bedroom. A reading light or two would have been very welcome.

Pleasant stay

Great location, 5 min walk into the town. Private Parking outside property, everywhere clean, large room and comfortable bed, road busy during the day but does quieten down at night time.

Towels are very rough, and not a lot of choice for breakfast, would have liked to see fruit or yogurt, only choice out were cereals, cooked breakfast small but quality was good.

When we arrived we were welcomed in even tho we were early, we were treated more like family.

The breakfast was excellent, the food was lovely. The service friendly, warm and prompt. The location was excellent, we were able to leave the car and walk to the nearby, shops, restaurants and pubs. Our hosts were the most friendly of any place we have stayed before. They were more like family, and we felt like it was home. We will recommend Riverside to others wanting to visit Ironbridge.

There are no changes that we think would be an improvement.

Quirky accommodation in interesting Ironbridge

This property is in a fantastic location about 200m from the bridge and the centre of Ironbridge. There are 3 good pubs nearby to choose from and Blists Hill Museum is a 50 minute walk. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

The hosts were very down to earth and friendly, felt very comfortable talking with them. Only a couple of rooms which made it feel very homely. The location was excellent.

Breakfast - No cornflakes on requesting first breakfast the following morning. orange juice only offered. Full english was only 4 items - no mushrooms, hash browns offered. Poor 1 item of bacon sausage egg and tomatoes on the vine. A full english is at least 6 items No lounge room so if its raining stay in your bedroom.
