Great location and lovely room , the shower was the only let down of the whole place

Great location, decent room and comfortable bed, with great bar and hospitality. Breakfast is good...could be more.
The only draw-back for me was the price charged for a LIVE band under your room, preventing you from sleeping till 1am.

While the hotel has potential, my stay was unfortunately marred by several significant issues. The room felt a bit dated, particularly the bathroom, which is in need of a modern refresh. However, the primary concern was the noise levels. Because the room was located directly above the bar and lacked adequate soundproofing, I could hear everything from the hallway and the bar venue below.
To be fair, the hotel does mention live music, but "evening" is a bit of an understatement for a set that runs until midnight directly under your bed. The staff kept all doors open so it didn't contain the noise, and the lack of soundproofing meant I heard everything. I wish the late-night noise had been clearly disclosed before I paid and arrived, as I needed a restful night's sleep so I wouldn't have chosen to stay here.
