Location,
The evening meal was terrible .
A so called gammon steak was 2 slices of cold ham.
It was mentioned to the waiter, who spoke to the chef who said "that's how
we do it here" we have been here 3 times but won't come again

Breakfast was excellent, location excellent, good view of the river, nice beer.
Rooms a little cold at first had to ask for the central heating checked, but there was a fan heater as back up.
Forgot to mention to staff no BBC channels available.

The shower was a little grubby, and the noise from the pub was very loud.

Beautiful place with amazing food and rooms. Clean, comfy and welcoming. All the staff were so friendly, unsure of the staff members name (male) but he was so friendly and made myself and my son smile. Meg was lovely and very friendly.

A good location in Ironbridge. Very pleasantly surprised at how central it was. Beautiful views over the river and gorge. The room and bathroom were both very clean and nicely decorated. Great breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
There wasn't anything that I disliked. I was advised by the team where to park as parking is restricted in Ironbridge....even for homeowners but the carpark was a level walk away and worked out well. Not sure if there was a hairdryer. I think with the tea and coffee facilities , some biscuits would be nice.

Although the room was lovely we had no hot water or heating until the following day. There was a fan heater in the room to compensate but the hot water was unavailable.
Food was very poor. I ordered a fillet steak to be cooked medium rare, it arrived well done. It was returned to the kitchen and reordered. It returned very rare, and returned to the kitchen. They didn't have fish and chips which my husband wanted, so he ordered a cheeseburger which was very poor quality and overcooked. In the morning, our full English breakfast did not have bacon on the plate.
Improvements required to reflect the costs of food advertised on the menu.

A bit chilly

It was located in prime position with beautiful views of the river.
Our room was warm and really comfortable.
Some great places in the pub area to sit by the fire and have a coffee or drink.
Staff were all really helpful and friendly.
Arrived early and we were able to check in and drop bags off straight away. The lady sorting rooms out was lovely and was just as friendly at breakfast the next morning. Great value with a lovely breakfast included.
Parking at car park down the road was convenient and reasonable. Had a lovely weekend .

My secret nd stay. Very comfortable and a very tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Good location and both rooms we booked were a good size
Room was freezing even though radiator was on, they said there was a small electric blower if we needed it which we did.
Bathroom was very large but shower did not drain , husband had a large puddle to stand in so needed to have a very quick shower as it would have overflowed onto bathroom floor.
We booked two superior rooms as we had our daughter and grandson with us , were not told that the pub did not empty until 24.00 pm and would still have loud music play hence my grandson didn’t get to sleep until then.
Breakfast was included but when my daughter asked if there was an alternative as she was vegetarian, such as vegetarian sausage was told no only cereal and toast however she did get her a Pepsi from the bar as daughter doesn’t drink tea or coffee.
What disappointed us more was as we were walking out the same waitress was telling another family yes they could give vegetarian options.

Amazing location, all of the staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. The room I had (room 6) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Special thanks to the lady who looked after us at breakfast - amazing service, thank you !
The only minor issue was with the shower… couldn’t quite get the water temp as warm as I would like but still comfortable - maybe an issue with the mixer unit?

Staff wonderfully friendly and helpful & delighted to be accommodating a Honeymoon couple, gave us a lovely room upgrade with a large wonderfully comfortable bed in a lovely room, which I couldn't fault at all, except for the lack of hand grab rails & air freshener in the bathroom. We were given a bottle of white wine and 2 Bucks Fizz cocktails as gifts. The breakfasts that I/We did eat were lovely. The bar & dining areas are very comfortable and popular. We were present for 2 birthdays there and another celebration & that was lovely to see. We had no problems staying there at all & we would like to return next November for our first wedding anniversary if possible. Ironbridge itself is a lovely area to stay in too, we were offered the chance to book evening meals too but we didn't for health and tiredness reasons but would love to next year. Staff were happy that we were having such a good time staying in the Inn & the area & were very helpful with advice about opening times and letting us know in advance about the town's Christmas celebrations on the Saturday of our stay having that knowledge of this event to look forward to in advance was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it supporting local businesses, local charities etc. We were also very grateful for the guest exit/entrance door on the hillside,so conveniently located near our room, meaning we could bypass the crowds downstairs in the bar & dining room & the upstairs bar if we wanted to & save climbing the stairs and very convenient for very late entry and exit when the doors below are locked of course. Great if you're coming back very late at night or in the early hours or just want to go for a walk, smoke or vape or get some fresh air etc. We were also grateful for the extra blanket that was already over the bed when we arrived. This time of year & the location of course so near the river it got chilly.
Other than the lack of grab rails in the bathroom and lack of air freshner, there was nothing that I didn't like, except the overpowering plug in air freshners in the corridors where the guest rooms/utility rooms were, too strong for my Asthma and ongoing Chest issues. Unfortunately we had noisy staff & guests walking outside our room late at night and later than that on the early hours disturbing us with with loud doors & doors banging but that happens wherever you stay. Had problems getting hot water from the shower, and never figured out how the second shower 🚿 head was supposed to come on. So had freezing 🥶 showers 🚿 but lovely hot baths 🛁 😍.

Breakfast fresh cooked good straight forward full English. Location ideal for our purpose
All a bit tired. Our bedroom maybe the least and cheapest at back of hotel, creaky corridor, no windows just skylight, flimsy sliding door to bathroom that needs updating.

Good location for access to sightseeing and shops. Bar area and dining facilities were inviting clean and well decorated.
Cooked breakfast was good and hot. The bedroom lacked central heating but small heater available and used. Car parking not available on site but car parks within reasonable walking distance but need to check charging times.
The room was well furnished, but smelt fusty and carpet not very clean.
The windows did not look safe to open to air the room and reduce condensation in the morning. Only one large chair in the room.

The breakfast was delicious
View was lovely
The heating did not appear to be working which meant the room was fairly cold. A fan heater was provided but that still meant the bathroom was cold. Not pleasant getting out of a warm shower

The room was basic, but comfortable. The staff were all super friendly and happy to help. We only ate breakfast onsite and the full English was really excellent.
The shower was hot and worked well, but the cubicle was a little mouldy in places, but certainly more than usable.

Great location. Beautiful area.
Breakfast and bar staff good.
Very good shower but small bath.
Family room had a separate attached bedroom for the little 'un.
Food (breakfast and dinner) could have been warmer. Dinner food could have been executed better with a little more effort.
Despite parking ticked as yes, there is no on-site parking. Parked across the river (via the Iron Bridge) - 300yds walk, mile drive. Parking free from 5pm to 10 am.

It was the perfect location for what we wanted and only about 5 minute walk to the carpark.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pub side had a lovely atmosphere.
The food was good and breakfast was perfectly cooked.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The shower was very powerful and plenty of towels and hot water, and the bed was comfortable. The only negative comment was that the paintwork and surround outside the shower in the bathroom could do with some attention.

Location was very good and perfect for us for a few days at the international centre. Staff were very accommodating as we didn’t check in until late and very welcoming then when we arrived. Very nice and friendly atmosphere when we arrived even though it was fairly busy and seemed to be a well liked spot with locals which is always a good sign. The food was cooked perfectly, very well priced, came out at just the right time and waiting staff were very attentive. Had a good stay in the room, and although a cold night-an electric heater was waiting in the room to warm it up. Breakfast was especially good-the waitress was very helpful and really friendly and attentive throughout the meal. You can choose exactly what you want too. Have been thinking about the sausages all day since eating them! Overall a really helpful, and very pleasant that made things especially easy for us. Will definitely be revisiting as staying again when I can for leisure! Thank you! ☺️

Clean, really friendly, large room and comfy bed, river view, very good value, and a fantastic breakfast. Will definitely stay again.
Bathroom a little tired; parking always a chore in Ironbridge, but that’s not the hotel’s fault!

The proximity to the bridge and the shops.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the river.
The breakfast was delicious!!
There was a smell in the room, but we put it down to the age of the building.

Restaurant was good , good food , staff nice but long wait
Awful room , no windows just sky lights . Bathroom too close to bed . Felt claustrophobic. Room was nothing like photos that were on booking .com sight . More of a large cupboard than bedroom . Asked to move but we were told that hotel was full and that we hadn’t paid enough . We were too tired to move elsewhere plus they had already taken money from our account . Very disappointing stay over won’t return .

The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast tasted spectacular. It's all locally sourced ingredients and cooked to order. The staff was friendly and managed well under the deluge of people that they were managing during the pub trail weekend.
The breakfast only offered a Full English. That's a lot of food and felt a bit much on the second day. They mentioned nothing anywhere about vegetarian or food allergy alternatives. I didn't feel comfortable asking about dairy free options so just avoided things that would have dairy in them.

Right in the heart of Ironbridge, easy to reach all the museums.
The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I have eaten in any of the places we have stayed, the lady who served us was lovely.
Bedroom on the front so lots of noise from the front beer garden and road.
For convenience I booked a table in the restaurant for the evening, portion sizes were small for price paid. My partner had the pie and his vegetables consisted of half a carrot and a spoonful of cabbage, in her defence the waitress who served us did bring us some extra when we complained.

The location very close to Iron Bridge. The food and drink, plus the staff.
The bed. The bed was very soft and needed to be replaced.
