Breakfast was a cooked English breakfast, made to taste. Excellent. I loved the fact that the cost overall for the hotel was very low and reasonable, and the hosts were extremely friendly and a lovely family. If you're looking for a fancy hotel; this isn't it. But if you want a simple cost effective stay in Carlisle (particularly when travelling through), this is extremely reasonable. I doubt you could find a cheaper place to stay with breakfast for 100+ miles. I would remember this key fact when judging the place. Very grateful for a lovely stay. We will be back.

Convient to motorway to continue journey. Walking distance to toby and other restaurant . Also large Tesco to refill fuel. Dining area lovely. Owners new in process of bringing up to date. clean , comfortable. Hostess Sudra lovely. Would recommend

Cassette toilet noisy when flushed but got used to it. It worked well

Very friendly owners - traditional style b and b accommodation - cooked breakfast - location is great...pretty close to M6.

I had a bed for the night, it was cheap enough for what I was staying there for. A bed for the night before the Wall Rat Race. The lady was lovely though.

I had to sleep with ear plugs in, noisy outside with roadworks and cars passing by, the sirens through out the whole night were none stop. Noisy kids banging walls and jumping on beds.
