Beautiful quiet cute place, 10min walk from lake Bled

Beautiful green quiet location, barely a 10min walk to the lake (Bled). Friendly welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, enough showers/toilets per floor, super clean. Very big kitchen on each floor. Quiet so really slept well.

The only thing missing was some shower gel.

Fantastic stay surrounded by nature!

Wonderfully peaceful guest house surrounded by nature! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful a number of times - going out of their way to help me with busses and changing money and borrowing a sewing kit! They even let my friend who wasn’t staying have a shower after our swim in lake bled!

Such a beautiful location surrounded by greenery. I had a gorgeous view from my room. The facilities are cleaned every day so everything is super clean. The staff are so helpful, very quick to respond to messages. They let me check in earlier and leave my bags there after check out. Tija and Mik are so friendly and lovely to speak to, they both were happy to answer any questions I had during my stay. Coffee machine is a lovely addition! Plant based milk available from local supermarket 😀

This isn’t the fault of Dolar rooms at all but one of the guests blow dried their hair at 5am in the shared bathroom. Maybe they could add a sign next to the hair dryer asking people to be mindful of the times when they use it?

Our host was waiting for us. Easy to get in and out. Very quiet and a 10 minute bike ride to town. Spacious kitchen to hang out in and enough bathrooms for easy sharing.

A clear discrepancy between the self-awarded stars and the actual condition of the accommodation.

I recently stayed at this accommodation, and I must say that the online reviews do not align with the reality of the place. The main issue was the cleanliness, or rather the lack thereof, in both the bathrooms and the kitchen. Upon entering, it was evident that the cleaning routine was far from satisfactory. It seemed like a quick wipe-down with a cloth was the extent of their cleaning efforts. The sanitary facilities appeared to have been neglected for an extended period. Stubborn residues were present everywhere, and the toilets emitted a foul odor reminiscent of public restrooms. I addressed these concerns with the management, and their solution was to introduce air fresheners. Unfortunately, this did nothing to address the underlying issue. It appeared that only the floors received any sort of regular cleaning. The bedding, on the other hand, was in poor condition, with noticeable holes, and I have serious doubts as to whether it is changed after each guest, although this remains speculative. Perhaps the most concerning aspect of my stay was the blatant self-rating of three stars by the accommodation itself, which I can only describe as deceptive. I find it hard to comprehend the positive reviews regarding cleanliness, as my experience starkly contrasted with them. It's hard to believe that these reviews are genuine. The main door is never locked, allowing unauthorized access to the house. In my opinion, this is particularly unsafe for solo female travelers.

A peaceful but perfectly located stay

When booking I was a little concerned about the location because it seemed a bit far away from the lake. It was actually the perfect location. It felt so peaceful and with the comfy bed, I got the best nights sleep there. A really short walk to the lake and didn’t feel too touristy. There are a few places to eat within a 10 minute walk and a handy shop to grab supplies. The shared facilities were clean. Klemen was also really helpful before my stay and during. I would highly recommend a stay here if you want somewhere peaceful in Bled.

Fairytale Bled Stay

Rare-find room in Bled. Very easy going check-in, responsive support and well organized setting. Though only one inclusive bathroom, one shower room and one separate toilet, I did not encounter any trouble of long wait on common facilities. The location could be slightly secluded, hemmed by expansive alphine forest and alps. Nonetheless, these were no problem to me. Instead, I basked in the beauty of valley path for about 10 minutes stroll before the sight of marvellous Bled Lake. Overall, it is my good choice for the 4 nights stay in Bled.

We were here for three days and had the whole place to ourselves. We really liked our room and the large kitchen. The walk (15 minutes) to Lake Bled was also very nice. The area is very quiet and beautiful with birdsong and crickets. We would love to come back again! :)

Decent but basic accommodation

Room was simple but clean and spacious for one person, perhaps less so if there had been two people in it. The place overall was relatively quiet and people adhered to that. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The location was 10 mins from the lake and there was a good restaurant (Starkl) nearby. For the price it was very good.

The single toilet smelled and at one point we ran out of toilet paper (but Klemen was very responsive once notified). The shower room needed a mat or somewhere dry to stand outside of the shower itself. It would be good to provide shower gel in the bathrooms - facilities were generally clean but felt basic. Location wise it is a fair walk into Bled town and buses could be very unreliable. The final section of the path to the hostel is pitch dark at night.

I had a great stay at Dolar Rooms! Would definitely recommend.

Very nice rooms in a calm and relaxing neighbourhood of Bled, very close to nature. About 10 min walk to lake Bled, 25 min walk to the main part of Bled. Everything was very clean and in great condition. I stayed in the apartment on the upper floor. There is a nice and well equipped kitchen with a big table and refrigerator. Some basic ingredients such as oil and sugar were also available in a little „sharing basket“ for everyone to use. There was a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a room with a separate toilet, so that there was never a problem, when two people needed to go to the bathroom at the same time. The owner is very nice and the communication was great. There is a place to park your car right in front of the house.

The highlight of my trip so far! - absolutely wonderful location, on the quietest and most beautiful side of the lake, it's paradise! - a short 10 minutes walk from the Bled Mlino bus stop - 10 minutes walk from a small grocery shore and the lake - spotlessly clean huge kitchen and multiple bathrooms and showers - big fridge to store food - super fast wifi - comfortable clean beds - Klemen was absolutely lovely and so welcoming

Friendly welcome from Klemen and let me check in early which was greatly appreciated. In fact had the entire floor to myself so "shared" bathroom and kitchen were all mine! Even if sharing though, kitchen good size and well equipped, shower hot and good pressure. Room comfortable. Nice outdoor seating. About 10 minutes to lakeside.

Suspect one shower potentially busy if the floor was fully booked.

The room was very close the lake, about 10 minutes by walking. It was quiete and clean. The personnel was nice. We had access to a private terrace with a lovely view on the wood.

Curtains are too light to avoid the sun entering the room in the morning. It would be usefull to add a mirror in the room.

brilliant stay, a walking distance in the country side away from the lake, Klemen was great and really flexible, highly recommended and I will definitely be staying here when I come back to the area

Very nice and welcoming host. The room has everything you need, WiFi is good. Toilets are clean and nice. The location is OK, not next to the lake but at 15 min walking distance.

There was no big size bed so we slept on 2 united twin beds which was not the most comfortable.
