Hostel LakeBled

Very kind and helpful staff, great kitchen facilities, super comfortable beds. Only a 15 min walk from the lake though calm, safe area!

No air conditioning so got a little hot, and only one shower room on each floor so had to wait a little for others, but was fine if patient!

It was very calm and relaxed, and also comfortable in a way. The shared bathrooms worked well as well, and very clean. The people who work there are very nice and kind, I appreciate their efforts.

Maybe the lack of privacy in the bunk bed room that has access to the balcony. Just because even with the blinds people can see you.

This hostel was extremely clean. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed in a private room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hostel is around 15-20mins walk from the main centre of bled with a large shop around 5 mins walk away. This was my first time staying in a hostel and I would definitely do it again.

Very clean and tidy, our room was small but cosy, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to do our own cooking and was kept very clean, the hostel has a nice garden/terrace area where you can sit or eat outdoors, it’s a 20 minute walk from lake bled which isn’t too far :)

There are only 2 bathrooms in the hostel, one on each floor, so we often had to wait for quite some time to use the toilet. On top of that one of the showers was having work done to it, so from the 3rd day of our stay only one of the bathrooms was in use. The hostel reception isn’t 24/7, and we very rarely saw the workers. One was there at check in time (2pm), but when other guests arrived earlier/later than that we had to let them in ourselves and tell them to wait.
