Overall nice stay, good location but bathroom/toiled situation was unpleasant.

Close to Bled lake. Kitchen is well equipped. Nice and friendly staff.

One bathroom and toilet for 20 people. In the morning and in the evening is a long queue. Waiting time for a bathroom/toilet is approximately one hour at best.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and straightforward.

If you want to see how far “the strict minimum” can be stretched. Two bathrooms for the entire hostel, no real common space, parking ten minutes away, no lamps, no terrace lights, not even a chair.

Amazing trip to lake bled!!!

Location was an easy walk to the lake and surrounding areas. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice kitchen to cook meals in.

Only 2 bathrooms with toilets and showers in the same room meant you sometimes had to queue.

Bled, we miss you already!

We had an amazing stay at Hostel Bled. It is very well equipped with everything you would need, cleaned daily and the location is nice and quiet. What is more, on the way to town, you have to pass the big supermarket, making it one of the few accommodations in town which is probably closest to a supermarket (5 min walking), and where free shuttle busses stop also in July and August. Our POC, Tanja, was amazing and gave us the best tips for our stay in Bled. We probably followed all her recommendations and were not disappointed!

The beds were not the most comfortable, and in the morning when people get up or check out, the noise travels easily through the house. Also small minus that there are only two bathrooms for the entire house, so sometimes you had to wait.

It’s located in quiet area. easy to find. Reception is really kind. Kitchen area is also good and clean.

Our room door was next to the shared restroom. Our door has some problem to close and there is some noise from restroom i think because of the door of restroom itself.

Great hostel, felt very clean and easy check in.

Location isn’t great, just something to be aware of - about a 20 min walk from the lake so not too bad but a bit further than it looks on the maps! Also only sharing 2 bathrooms in the hostel so a bit of a queue at busy times.

Good for very short term and not in the middle of summer

Property was clean and had bike racks which were under camera surveillance - ideal since you probably should rent a bike to get around the area

1 bathroom for whole floor so from 5-11pm it’s a challenge to even brush your teeth. Even when you’re showering there seemed to always be someone trying to open the door handle to the bathroom. Also room was very hot and no window only a door which you had to leave open to get air in which felt unsafe.

I would stay here again…..

We were in the dorm room on the 1st floor. Very spacious. Fan cooled…..so warm if you are on a top bunk. Outside sitting area is very nice. Kitchen is well equipped but very small for the number of guests (I think this hostel accommodates at least 20 guests). The staff were awesome….extremely helpful!! The hostel is only about a 15 minute walk to the lake and main bus station, only 7 minute walk from the Bled Union bus station, about a 5 -10 minute walk to 2 grocery stores and ATM.

Not enough cooking/sitting/eating space in kitchen. The kitchen is the only common area. Only 2 toilets/showers…..so you have to be prepared to wait your turn.

Good for one night, nice views, decent hostel

Very clean, beds were comfortable, kind staff, good bathrooms.

There isn’t very much common space, there are only two bathrooms, the parking is about a 7 minute walk away from the hostel across from a restaurant. We were told if that area is full to just park at the grocery store beside which is free (but we were still charged 10 euro per night to park).

Location, 20 minute walk to lake and from station, small room, no AC or fan I had to leave the door open to the balcony open at night, very small kitchen, I had to pay to leave my bags at the bus station because no one was at the hostel until 2pm. Towels were tiny like a hand towel..

Clean and secure lodgings in a quiet residential area.

The house is set in a residential area, surrounded by beautiful gardens. There are excellent supermarkets nearby. The kitchen is very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. It’s a safe and secure place for a female solo traveller and there is space to leave a bike.

I would have liked a bedside lamp and a bigger towel.

Fine as a budget option

In nice peaceful pretty neighbourhood 25 mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the lake area.

Smelt strongly of stale cigarettes, although otherwise clean. Unstaffed, so had to pre-arrange appointment time for check-in which limited our freedom that afternoon. A bit cold in the night because the heating is turned off in April. We used extra duvets from unoccupied beds. Don’t mind walking 25 mins to the lake but be aware it is on main traffic-filled roads - maybe there is a nicer footpath but there was nobody to ask

Totally normal hostel, very friendly owner/receptionist.

Although the check-out time is 10:00 a.m., at 9:15 a.m. we were woken up by loud knocking and then entering the room with a key by one of the employees who already wanted to clean the room.

The owner was extremely helpful & the property was homely, well kept and well located.

Great location, as the hostel was a 20 minute walk to the lake. It had a lovely homely feel - the beds were very comfortable and toilets clean and nicely done.

It would benefit from another toilet - there was only one for females & one for males, which meant you had to wait to use it. They would benefit from another fridge, as it was overfull and difficult to find space to put items in.

The Receptionist asks irrelevant questions and is irritating. He thinks it's funny. But he's not. He has bad sarcasm. I was on my nerves after my long travel. A good receptionist shouldn't trigger that.

Cheap place to stay in Bled

We booked the bunk bed room, it had nice storage closets. There is a really cute patio area in the back. The kitchen has nice amenities. The hostel itself is about a 20-minute walk from the lake.

Our biggest issue was the noise at night, there were a lot of drunk guests being very loud for a long time late at night, and returning back very loud hours later. The room doesn't block the noise at all. The hostel overall was not particularly clean. Our room itself seemed to have some mold or something on the walls, the showers weren't the cleanest, and the pillowcases were broken and didn't properly cover the pillows. The bottom bunk bed is super low even for a short person, easy to hit your head. For the quality I feel it should have been priced cheaper.

We liked it for the money

It was nice and clean

No parking, we would prefer more bathrooms and toilets. There was very hot but in the evening you couldnt open the window because of the insects. Even if not airconditioning we would recommend insect nests for windows.

Location was great, and everything was clean and tidy. Fairly comfortable too. Liked the terrace. The staff was organised and prompt.

Kitchen could have been better equipped, there is no microwave, no bowls, not much space either. Bathrooms are for only one person at the time, and the upper one had a damaged key that nearly got me locked in.

The place was nice, clean rooms, big rooms

The kitchen/dining room was on the next room and it was not sound isolated at all (I'm quite sure there is an old window hole between the rooms, covered now with a wooden plank in both sides) . I could hear everything and sleep was difficult. The cups were dirty
