About this house rental

Harbour View is a refurbished 2 bedroom holiday house with parking for two vehicles, private patio garden and sea views. 4 persons can be accommodated and a cot/highchair is available on request.

Conveniently situated on the edge of the village, only five minutes walk to the harbour. No need to drive through the narrow streets to reach us, which means you're ideally located to explore the local area. We have fabulous sea and harbour views as we are on the top of the hill.

Our changeover day is Friday to beat the horrible Saturday rush!

Harbour View has a brand new fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The open plan kitchen/ diner/ lounge is spacious and light and has views to the sea. we have a smart TV so you can access your own Netflix/streaming services.

Upstairs the master bedroom has a new ensuite with stunning views down to the sea.

The brand new family bathroom and a twin bedroom complete the upstairs.

A private westerly facing patio garden to the rear has a BBQ and garden furniture so you can enjoy the sunny evenings relaxing after a busy day.

Free Wi-Fi throughout.

Harbour View has private parking, a definite luxury in Mevagissey, two vehicles can be accommodated.

We had a great stay. Our teenage son didn't want to come home saying he felt like home there! In fact, we all felt as if we were home. The home-made scones, the wine in the fridge, milk, etc waiting for us for when we arrived, it was so unexpected and very much appreciated. We forgot to ask for the recipe :( The place is well located for the village, beaches, etc. Thank you PsWe now know how to put the clotted cream and jam on our scones and will never look back!

We had a very relaxing stay at Harbour view. The property was thoughtfully laid out and furnished. The welcome treats were an added bonus. Just note, there is a steep driveway to the property, but it is a great location. Mevagissey was gorgeous to walk around with things to do and good restaurants. Just relaxing by harbour with an ice cream and watching life go by lovely.

Tracey greeted us. Warm welcome with scones jam and cream. Other nice little extras. Feast week was great and we saw several lots of entertainment with bands, floral dancers etc. watched the fireworks from our window which was lovely. The Mevagissey Harbour is beautiful and spent much time there of an evening and afternoons when we came back from our outings. Thoroughly recommend the accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the wonderful cottage. We were made so welcome by the owners; there was a cream tea, wine,plus all the essentials waiting for us on our arrival.The cottage was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was warm and cozy,immaculately clean and everything was to a high standard and carefully thought out so that everything we needed during our half-term stay was there. Out of the main bedroom window was a beautiful view of Mevagissey and the sea.It is a very pretty area of Cornwall. Huge thanks to Tracey Hill for her hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay at Harbour View. The property is decorated and appointed to a very high standard and we couldn’t have felt more at home. Tracy, the owner, began our stay by providing us with a cream tea, wine and local goodies which were really appreciated. I can’t recommend the property, position and area highly enough. We will definitely return to this gem of a location and accommodation.

We loved our week at Harbour View.It was refreshing to come to a holiday rental that was so lovely and clean. Ideally situated to walk into Mevagissey and to walk further afield without always having to take the car.( Thanks for the loan of the walking books) A gorgeous welcome pack was a delight after our long journey. The mattresses were a little soft for us - but that is just personal preference. We love Mevagissey and the surrounding areas and when we come again we would stay at Harbour View.

Property is lovely with the most magnificent views. On arrival thought the fresh scones-wine and fresh coffe was a lovely touch. Loved taking in the breathtaking views of the sea and Mevagissey.The house was clean and very well maintained with good furniture and the owner provided very good customer service. We would definitely recommend this property. Hope to visit again soon as we didn't want to leave. Wonderful!!

The property was fantastic perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the view down to the harbour is incredible. The property is at the top of a rather steep hill but that means it is nice and quiet away from the centre and is less than a 10 min walk away. Overall we loved this place and if we return to mevagissey would happily stay here again

What a fantastic stay at Harbour View. The view really is spectacular and the property is immaculate. The owners are helpful and easy to communicate with and were next door if we needed them but there was also enough privacy. The walk down into town is very steep and as we had a family member who struggles to walk we just sent someone ahead up the hill to fetch a car down when heading home. We found everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen, good laundry facilities and extras to accommodate the baby such as a cot and high chair. What made the stay extra special is the generous touches such as arriving to fresh scones, clotted cream, jam, shortbread and a bottle of white in the fridge as well as ample basics such as dishwasher tablets and loo roll. If you don't already know Mevagissey, it's a delightful harbour town and we recommend The Ship Inn, which was very friendly, including for babies. And we still caught mackerel in September from the harbour wall. There's no parking in the town which makes the two spaces at Harbour View a massive asset. We would love to come back in the future... we only wish it had another bedroom so we could still travel with friends and children when our little one grows up as this is somewhere we would happily return year on year.
