The ideal spot for exploring Kotor

Fantastic location right in the heart of old town.

No so much the property but there is very limited free parking in Kotor. Also Apple Maps takes you to the back of the building by the public toilets. You need to go to the plaza on the other side and into the Cats museum building and up the stairs on the left to the first floor.

Loved the location of the guesthouse. Mama Nikola the landlady offered to drive me in her personal car to the Tivat airport without charging me anything. That was a kind gesture.

It was difficult to track on the map before arriving at the place on the first day. On booking.com it was mentioned that I would be charged 74 euros in cash on arrival for two nights, but I instead I was charged 120 euros by Mama Nikotela. I do not mind paying this amount but I wasn't told about this hidden cost in the form of tourist tax that I would need to pay and that would allow me to carry more cash. This should be mentioned clearly on your website that the charges is 74 + x amount of money. This was a bad experience.

Excellent location and wonderful host! We had everything we needed and truly enjoyed the balcony. The host is super kind and helpful. She gave us delicious figs as a welcome treat. The apartment is clean and has all amenities needed for a short stay in Kotor. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay!!!

The host was sooo nice! The room was clean and balcony lovely to sit out in. The kitchen was functional with most cooking utensils. Highly recommend!! It is above the cat museum so if you plug that into Google Maps it is easy to find

the host is very nice and helpful! the place is very clean, great shower, comfortable bed. the location is amazing!!! at the centre but in a more quiet place, with a very nice terrace. the bathroom is shared but very near and only for 2 rooms. there is a good heater in the room.

Superb location, Vesna the host is very warm and welcoming, she offered us a transfer to Tivat airport free of charge. Beds were very comfortable. The appartment has a wonderful terrace looking at cosy little piazza, just above Cats museum.

Highly recommended stay in Kotor

We loved Nikoleta, who went out of her way to help us and make our stay the best. The location is excellent, in a quiet corner of the center of the old town. Although we didn't use, there was a fully usable and equipped kitchen. The room was cosy and beds were comfortable, fulfilling expectations.

The location of the house was amazing! Whenever I felt tired, I could easily come back to the house to get some rest. The houseowner even gave me a free ride to the airport and answered all my questions in the shortest time possible. Great hospitaliy!

Cozy, comfy and casual guesthouse in Kotor

Our host was so sweet and welcoming. The location is absolute perfection and quiet at night - at least when we were there mid-week! (and located right above the cat museum, for those looking for it!) Beds were comfy, wifi worked well, a couple snacks (apples and crackers) were left out, and the balcony was great to sit outside and drink a cup of coffee in the morning. It was so charming and kind of old school and just perfect for a few nights!

The couch in the main area could be comfier? Or add a couple chairs for more of a hang out vibe. But really, I loved my stay there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone/everyone looking for a casual place to stay in Kotor that's super centrally located.

Nice friendly place in the heart of Kotor Old Town

Excellent location on a big tree-lined square in the heart of the Old Town. The terrace is nice to sit out on, and there's even a cinema next door! I suspect it might be slightly noisy in the peak of summer, rather than late September when I stayed. The hostess was friendly and helpful, though spoke only limited English. The accommodation is relatively basic, but everything is clean and in a nice old original Kotor apartment. The kitchenette, bathroom and living room are shared with one other guest room. The WiFi was good. Value for money was OK, you're paying for the location.

I hadn't realised when booking that it was a shared bathroom - but that's my fault. The twin beds were a bit basic but OK.

Very good position in the Old Town without too many stairs to climb with our luggage & great balcony over a square. Very attentive hostess.

The place could do with some TLC, there is no a/c but a fan, ok for September (but probably not enough in high summer) so weigh your priorities.

Comfortable stay in the heart of Old Town.

The location is directly in the center of Old Town Kotor. The host was always quick to communicate and very kind and flexible. We loved the cute terrace.

The bed was extremely firm, but that may not be a problem if that’s your preference.

Nikoleta was extremely friendly, the location is amazing right in the old town and still not too loud (we stayed the night before right next to a night club, so this was much better), lovely balcony and we were allowed to use the washing mashine (real life saver in the heat wave ;).

Mother and Daughter trip

Perfect location in a little square next to the old tree and the cats museum. The lady was lovely, and although there was the language barrier, we understood each other and she was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend guesthouse Nikoleta
