Clean, clean, clean. Location, closest to the bus station, and still in the old city. Helpful owner.

Location.
Many steps to get up to unmarked property. No cups/glasses , or thought given to making guests feel comfortable and welcome.
Room was austere, basic, uninviting as was the entire building, to the point that for the first time ever travelling, we wanted to leave upon arrival .Bedding was just about functional.
Unclear before booking that payment is being held from your bank , so cash is demanded from you on arrival. Which caused unpleasant confusion as host does not speak English.
