Everything was perfect. The apartment was in the Old Town, so it was very easy to reach everywhere. The host lady was very kind and friendly, and even gave us two packs of different teas as a gift when we checked out.

Clean room in an apartment within the old town walls

Clean room within the walls of the old town rented by a kind old lady.

It wasn’t clear in the description that it is a separate room in an apartment where the owner lives. There is a bathroom but it is outside the room. During our stay, the sink in the bathroom was not working so we had to use the shower to wash hands etc. The bigger problem for us, however, was the double bed. It is quite narrow for two and creaks a lot with every movement so turning the side in the night easily wakes up the other person. With a nicer bed, the room has a lot of potential.

Lovely town

Located within old city and up several flights of stairs. A little hard to locate initially. Kotor is beautiful and the host spoke a little english. Room was next to a bathroom and there was a fridge on the landing...with the host having own accommodation next to my room

It is in a very central location in the heart of the city. You can walk to the bus station and the beach in 3-4 minutes, in the part called the old town. We stay at the resort with Sandra's grandmother, she is a sweet woman. The view from the room is magnificent. A recommended place.

Amazing

The location is perfect, it's right in the old town. The lady who welcomed us was very nice, she even accepted to keep our bags for a few hours, so we could finish visiting the city on our last day there!

Everything went very well and once we closed the window, we couldn't hear any sounds from the street.

Most of all i liked the location, it's within the old city, overlooking to the wall, like you're living in a castle! And it's closest point to the bus station, ~8 mins away. The hosts sends instruction how to find the entrance which is very useful. the room is normal size, not small, amazing price for value!

No major cons, the room was OK, bearing in mind it's located in an old building in historical center. A kettle and cups in the room would be nice to add

The hostess is very helpful and accommodating ,speaks a little English which was helpful. There was no kettle in the room, but she arranged her kettle in such a way we could both use it. The location was excellent, close to Bus station, right in the Old City alleys.

Right in the center and still close to the bus station. Room and bathroom are good - all fine. But it is like sharing the apartment with the nice old lady. Like in the old days as student with the "host mum" :-)

There is not a single sign. There is a handpainted house number but still no idea which apartement it is. Without calling the lady - no chance to find it.

Convenient for a night out!

The location was great, as I was only staying in Kotor for a night out.

The building is shown in the photos, but it’s unclear as to which floor the apartment is on as there aren’t any signs. I did message when I arrived- but if you arrive and don’t have data or cell service, it could be a problem.

Lovely place to stay right in the centre of town!

Very cool, it was inside the walls of the castle city, we loved how close everything was. There was also aircon which was very welcome.

Parking was a bit of a pain because it’s so central, you have to go further to find free parking. Don’t park at the casino as we were told, because it’s really expensive!

I enjoyed my stay there

The location is perfect. The landlady Bella is so welcoming and friendly, I love her! I stayed with Bella for 4 nights, and she even offered me some pasta and pancake on my last day. The room is spacious, although the bathroom is outside the room but you get the whole outside part of the apartment for yourself. I could also use the kitchen for quick fixes and coffee, and there's a fridge by the room door you could use it. As to the location, it is hard to know where it is on the first time, but once you know, you find it very easy and near to the bus stop. I loved this place and the owner, I will definitely go back.

The neighbor with the shared wall with the room has kids who were noisy running and shouting until midnight, so if you like to sleep early it keeps you up until they sleep around midnight. Also, the sink doesn't have hot water, the shower does though, so in winter you may want to use hot water from the shower tap. Other than that everything was perfect and I will definitely go back.

Good

The guesthouse is close by the bus station and directly in the old town of Kotos. It is perfect for exploring the city. The host of the guesthouse was nice and friendly. For one night it was okay and we can recommend the room. The room and the bathroom was clean and had a good size.

You have to use your own sleeping bag - there were only linen and no blankets. You need to know that the guesthouse is directly in the old town. It was hard to sleep with open window because of the noise from the street. We had earplugs with us - so it was okay.
