i like it so much that i came for the 4th time already

completely everything - service (lockers and towels), atmosphere, comfort, stable wifi, provided kitchen, very very nice personal, good organisation plus i always forget how beautiful the view from some of the rooms/bathrooms are! rooms are super comfortable because of the curtains and lamps and electrical outlets at every bed.

Excellent hostel, very clean, rooms very comfortable with adequate space and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Maybe the best hostel I’ve been to and so would definitely recommend.

Super comfortable and central hostal with friendly staff

This hostal has the most comfortable bunk beds ever! I am on a three and half month trip and visiting many hostals, this one has the most comfortable beds with what seemed like memory foam type matresses, heavy and long curtains around all three sides of the beds, heavy blankets, side lamps in each and about 6 sockets! The kitchen was nice, clean with plenty of mugs and utencils and a big dining table. Cooking basics provided including coffee and tea. Labels and system for food storage. Bathrooms were nice size and clean, with great views! Incredible location, directly inside the walls of the old town and soon after entering the main gate. For context I visited of season and shared my 6 bed room with one person only one of the three nights and the rest of the time I had it to myself. I can't comment on how it would be when the hostal is full.

The bedroom doors are never locked. Although there is always staff in the premises it would be simple for people to go into the room at any point day or night and found this usual. Cleaner came in earlier than check out time to make the bed from another guest - she didn't knock nor say anything, I was in bed and she kept the door open. Whilst I was already awake and nothing happened, it did make me feel unsettled.

Best Hostel

Perfect location! This is definitely one of the cleanest and most comfortable hostels I’ve ever stayed at. To top it all off, staff is superb. Super friendly and helpful, even grabbed my sock that fell off from the clothesline.

Great!

The manager and the staff are so kind and helpful. The room of 8 is very spacious, and you have your privacy even though it’s a dorm bed. Wonderful big comfortable kitchen and a very nice cozy living room. Great location - in the middle of the old city, and still very quiet inside the hostel. Wonderful experience!

Cozy, quiet and friendly hostel in the center of Kotor.

The hostel is strategically located in the center of Old Town Kotor close to all the attractions, restaurants and cafés. Rooms are very clean and tidy and beds are big and very private with their own curtains. Everything looks very new or recently renovated. It has a great and well equipped kitchen and the common areas are also spacious and confortable with great views of the town. They provide towels and free lockers. Ivan, from the staff, was super helpful and shared a lot of information about restaurants, activities and things to do in Kotor. Highly recommended!

They could have more bathrooms, there were only 2 in each floor which is not enough for the number of rooms and beds they have.

Fantastic staff !

The location is excellent and staff make you feel very comfortable all the time. They do a wonderful job welcoming and making sure your stay in Kotor is a good one.

Unfortunately the walls are quite thin and on my last night there was a bit of a party in the common room with music and loud people so I didn’t get much sleep. They finished at 12:00 according to the rules but then they continued in the dorm room next door.

Centrally located, clean and comfortable

Very central, right in the old town. Rooms had good AC, big lockers, and privacy curtains. Decent kitchen facilities. Bathrooms were always clean. Always someone at reception to help :)

Not much social vibe at all. Common room was not really set up for hanging out and meeting people. It would be good if the hostel did something like family dinner nights at the hostel and/or a few events for guests to meet

The location in the old town is incredibly good, eith wuick access from the River gate and great entertainment all around.

Great staff and location

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, I even got some good recommendations of places to visit and where to eat. There's a nice lounge area and a kitchen with all the necessary utilities, even coffee and tea available for free for all guests. The rooms were spacious, had big lockers to store luggage, comfortable beds and air conditioning. Despite being in the heart of Kotor's old town, the windows blocked off the sound pretty well, I didn't have any trouble with noise.

The room I stayed in was on the top floor and so we barely got any WiFi signal up there, it didn't work most of the time. The number of bathrooms in the hostel is very limited which can make it difficult to find one available in the morning. The beds didn't have any curtains for privacy (but maybe that was just the room I got) and the rooms didn't have any locks, which is not great in terms of safety.

Enjoyed the stay except the loud music.

Hostel is located in the old part of city within short walking distance to all places of interest. Very nice place and well kept with common area and kitchenette. Sandra and Ivan were very good to provide relevant information about activities in the area.

During my stay, there was very loud music played till 0100 in the morning from adjacent restaurant. Hostel staff informed me that it happens every night and they are permitted to do so. To travellers from Tivat airport, be aware about Taxi drivers who will try to rip you off because there is no bus stop at airport (they will try to tel you). However, there is bus stop about 5 min walk from building.

Great location in the hearth of Kotor, close to restaurants, bars, main attractions, shops, supermarket, bakery. Very helpful staff, the girl that was at the check in gave me very valuable information and even pointed it on the map.

The staff are really nice, very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean.

The hot water of the shower didn't last very long. For girls with long hair, we normally takes longer time and the water turned cold half way when I was taking the shower. It happened twice. The more concerning thing is the noise. Not far away from the hostel, there was a pub playing extremely loud music, it was so loud that wearing earplugs didn' t help at all. I didn't sleep before 1 am (that's the time they stopped) for two days. It made me so exhausted during the day time.

Friendly environment, perfect location.

The people that worked there were super friendly with me and my friend. They accomodated us together even if we had reserved separately. They helped us with everything and gave good recommendations.

Everything was perfect. This is a personal opinion, but if I could change something, it would be the pillows. They were too big/high for my taste.

It was simply amazing. There were no curtains in the photos, but there were curtains. No light was passing through the curtains. Provided completely privacy. Definitely a place I will stay again.

Great location and staff, but bed bugs ruined stay

The staff were very friendly and approachable. Additionally, the location was amazing, being in the centre of the old town. The bathrooms were clean, with two towels provided.

Unfortunately the bed I was in had bed bugs, with my entire body being bitten (see picture of one of my arms alone, with plenty more bites on my legs, feet, chest, belly and neck). I only realised after my stay that they were bed bug bites as they were itching like crazy and were all in patterns of 5+ bites. I now have bites all over my body that I’ll have to try to cover up for now whilst getting on with my everyday life.

Modern place to stay in the centre of the town

Modern hostel with large bunk beds. Curtains, plus, lights and lockers at each bunk. Modern bathrooms. Good size kitchen. Good size lounge. Good WiFi. Large lockers. Helpful hosts. Kept clean and well maintained. Towels provided.

As others have observed, the outside noise from the bars in the centre of town can keep you awake until midnight. Perhaps a few hooks are needed in the bathrooms to hang clothes. No breakfast, which would have enhanced the value for money rating. No shower gel in the bathroom - this is something people might expect these days given the modern type of hostel. A few more cushions could be added in the lounge Didn't have that 'social vibe' that other hostels may have. It is what it is. Unsure if there are laundry facilities.

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed at!

The hostel is located in the heart of the old town. It's clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs, and offered advice and suggestions to make my stay in Kotor more enjoyable.
