KAŽIN supreme

We’ve just returned from a truly fabulous and relaxing holiday as guests of the Vukovic family at their beautiful guest house, Kazin. From start to finish, the hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. Irena, the manager—and an architect by profession—organized our airport transfers to and from Tivat, making our arrival and departure completely stress-free. Upon arrival in Kotor, we were warmly greeted at the North Gate by her sister, Ksenija, who walked us the short distance over the bridge to Kazin and gave us a helpful tour of our room. We stayed in Room 1 on the ground floor, and it was immediately clear that no expense had been spared in the home’s thoughtful renovation. The room was stylishly designed to an exceptionally high standard, with every detail carefully considered for guest comfort. The air conditioning had already been turned on—a welcome touch given the midday heat—and chilled bottles of water were waiting for us in the fridge. There were also tea and coffee-making facilities, glasses for cool drinks, and a safe for valuables. The bathroom was equally well-appointed, stocked with high-quality toiletries including hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a hairdryer. Plush towels were provided and refreshed regularly, as was the luxurious bed linen. Throughout our stay, Irena went above and beyond. She kindly arranged taxis whenever we needed them, saving us time and effort, and even offered to make restaurant reservations. She also informed us about a local concert in the main square and reserved seats for us—another thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. Kazin has been in the Vukovic family for generations, and their pride in the property is unmistakable. Both Irena and Ksenija made us feel incredibly welcome—almost like part of their family. We’ve already shared our wonderful experience with friends and relatives and are certain we’ll return again.

Best. hotel. ever. It's so special. It's beautifully designed and the rooms are very big and comfortable. It's in a wonderful location in the old town. Before you come, Irena will contact you to facilitate your stay. She is available for any questions or concerns while you are there. We had a problem (I took someone else's luggage off the bus and our luggage carried on to another location) and she and her sister worked for hours to solve it and reassure us that it would be OK. It was OK. The hotel was at the high-end of our price range but no regrets. Really special. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had and I am old and have been to a lot of hotels.

This is an excellent place to stay in Kotor--the interior design is exquisite. Irena, the General Manager, is an architect, and you can see this in the decor: it is modern through and through but incorporating the spirit of the old city, with wonderful lighting and local touches. In addition, she is extremely helpful in answering questions and providing guests with recommendations and reservations for restaurants, etc. This place is steps away from coffee shops and excellent restaurants, but is a wonderful, cool and beautiful refuge. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

This is a large, comfortable, beautifully decorated room, located in the heart of the old city of Kotor. We loved it. At night beautiful music from the nearby cafes floated in. There is a wonderful holiday atmosphere. Irena welcomed us warmly and was extremely helpful during our stay. There are lots of charming restaurants nearby. We highly recommend.

No negatives, it was great!

Amazing location and comfort. Next to the N Gates making it easy to get to the taxi or get out of the crowded Old Town during the day. Evenings are not that crowded and the location is great for restaurants

Top spot to stay in Kotor. Close vicinity to all major attractions to visit in Old Town. Very helpful and supportive host - Irena. The apartment was very nicely decorated and furnished. Neat and clean. I can honestly recommend this place.

Irena was the perfect host - constantly in touch and attentive to all details. The apartment is located in the centre of Kotor Old Town and has numerous cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The building is a n authentically renovated Old Town stone villa which has been completely modernised inside with quality facilities. The room and ensuite bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

The weather was rainy on most days we were there with humidity at almost 100%, so it was difficult to dry towels and even wet clothes and shoes. It would have Benn nice to have a heated towel rack. I would suggest providing plates and cutlery so that guests can eat their own cereal or fruit for breakfast.

Everything. The location was excellent. Irena was lovely. The room was fabulous. If you are looking for an old world romantic room in a old town location you couldn't find better. The room although matched the old town look with castle Vibe was mixed with the modern touches of bathroom Aircon and even a ceiling fan. We were celebrating my 60th birthday and this was made special staying in this room. The location was perfect right in the centre of the old town but up a few steps and very quite. Also just 20 steps away from the room was possibly the best coffee pastry cafe in koto. We had breakfast there everyday. Thank you to Irena for her hospitality. X

It’s a luxurious apartment in a perfect location. You will love everything about the place: bedroom, bathroom and the host herself :) Highly recommended.

The apartment is newly renovated with high quality materials that perfectly fit with the 400 year old walls and ceiling beams. It is in a silent street in the old town Kotor.

El alojamiento tiene un sótano más dos niveles . Desafortunadamente me dieron la habitación del sótano que está 1.60 metros bajo tierra . Es muy obscura y muy húmeda . Quizá las habitaciones superiores estén bien . Pero la habitación número 1 que está prácticamente en un sótano está muy desagradable . La anfitriona es muy amable , desgraciadamente la habitación número 1 no deberían ofrecerla a los clientes .

Que me dieron la habitación número 1 , la cual está prácticamente en un sótano , está obscura y húmeda y sin ventilación y sin iluminación. No volvería a esa habitación .

Alting! Der var så smukt og dejligt at være og tænkt på alle detaljer i indretningen. Lokationen var super central. Dertil var Irena den bedste vært nogensinde. Hun havde bl.a. på forhånd sørget for lækker lokal vin til os på værelset, booket en dejlig speedbådtur, som hun endda ombookede da vores ankomst var forsinket, og tilbudt at hjælpe med restaurantbookinger og hvad vi ellers kunne have brug for. Og da vi ringede tidligt om morgenen på afrejsedagen fordi vi havde låst os selv ude uden vores pas, var hun hurtig til at hjælpe uden nogen klager. Det her er ikke bare et smukt overnatningssted men en oplevelse. Får mine største anbefalinger.

Çok sıcakkanlı bir karşılama ile otele giriş yaptık. En üst kattaki odada (Queen) konakladık. İnanılmaz temiz ve çok konforluydu. Oda titizlikle dekore edilmiş ve tüm ihtiyaçlarınızı karşılayacak şekilde düzenlenmiş. Kesinlikle tekrar kalmak isteyeceğimiz bir yer. Son gün kapımıza bıraktıkları hediye için de ayrıca teşekkür ederiz. Tekrar görüşmek üzere.

Отличное местоположение в старом городе, комфортный заезд и отличный, красивый номер.

Мы думали, что это отель, потому что принципиально не хотели брать апартаменты. В городе можно найти квартиры намного дешевле аналогичного качества. Думали, здесь отель, будет ресепшн и проч. В итоге оказалась комната в доме.

Quarto amplo e muito bem cuidado. Localização mesmo no centro histórico de Kotor. Simpatia e disponibilidade total da anfitriã.
