The hostel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located right in the old town. Rooms are well kept, and the views around the hostel are beautiful — especially in the mornings and evenings.
What stood out most was the atmosphere. The team is genuinely welcoming. Milan is super helpful and always available, and Diego makes amazing homemade food — the affordable dinners and shared meals made it easy to meet people. Free rakija definitely helped break the ice.
There’s almost always something happening, but it never feels forced. Big thanks to Ramy as well for helping organize dinners and hangouts and making newcomers feel included.
Great place if you want a social hostel with good energy, without the party chaos.
Loved everything about this place.

Great spot in the old town with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. Food was fresh and well prepared, drinks were solid, and the staff were friendly without being pushy. Perfect place to sit, eat, and actually enjoy Kotor instead of rushing through it. Would definitely come back.
Everything was great

It is located in middle of the Old Town. The place is brilliant. The room was so cozy and Milan is the greatest host I have ever met. It was such a good hospitality we have seen and I would recommend everyone to book here.

Excellent location.
Quite dirty… could not make the mistake of walking without footwear; hair and plenty of dust was visible on the floor. Showers, also dirty. The kitchen lacked supervision and every time there were someone’s dirty dishes in the sink or a clogged sink.
Sure, extra cost for early check, if they have to accommodate you; however, it was low season and anyone arriving a minute before 2pm would not be received. If you need to leave your bags, it’s at your own risk at an unsupervised reception where anyone can walk in.

Large, comfortable and clean rooms right in the heart of old town. Friendly staff and great activities on offer to meet new people whilst exploring Kotor - I made some amazing friends during my stay here who I went on to travel with after! Bunks have curtains and all rooms have storage lockers for your belongings. Kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal and lots of fridges. Nice views from the room. Pool is a bonus!

Great social vibe and activities every night. We loved the karaoke nights and trivia. Also enjoyed the activities like the boat party and sunset bbq. Beds were comfortable with huge lockers under the bed. Bathrooms were decent too. Loved the fact that you could bring your own drinks to the hostel bar. Staff and volunteers were really friendly and created a good social atmosphere.
It is very expensive for what you get. I get it’s in old town but I can’t say it’s good value for money. The kitchen constantly smelt like urine for three days. It was unbearable to go in the kitchen because of the smell. Also the door mechanisms to the rooms are super loud so you get woken up everytime someone enters the room or leaves

Simply perfect! This hostel was just what I was looking for. It has an incredible international atmosphere, ideal for meeting people from all over the world. The breakfast is delicious, everything is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. But the best thing, without a doubt, is the staff: always friendly, attentive, and willing to help at any time. I felt welcome. Thank you for making my stay so special.

- The overall atmosphere of the property is crazy positive.
- The activities every night that they cook are all fun (they give out free drinks)! The staff are friendly and accommodating.
- Bathrooms are well-maintained.
- Breakfast is superb, affordable and made fresh
- Wi-Fi coverage could be improved. It doesn't reach some rooms fully.
- The kitchen area could be a little cleaner, as well as the atrium of the cafeteria building; some sheets are on the floor at one point.

Great location in Kotor old town not far from bus station. Very social hostel with events always planned, wish I had stayed for longer. Very spacious under bed lockers to fit multiple bags, comfy beds with curtains.
Shower and toilet in same room shared between multiple dorms

Nice hostel in old town with daily activities. Workers and volunteers were really nice and met some great people. Breakfast was good value.
Ten euros for laundry is a bit much. Would have hand washed my laundry if it was allowed.

Kotor is pretty, the hostel is nearby one of the gate entrance and close the bus stop in just 2 minutes by walk, there are so many good restaurants cafe and ice cream next to it. More than that the bed is comfortable and the rooftop dining room is calm and peaceful I like to rest there for noon time. I love the pizza house there it’s so yummy! The manager is nice when I booked the date wrong he is able to help manage it, and he has a beautiful chef. All in all highly recommended be fast or you are likely to miss it!

I had the best time staying at Old Town Hostel in Kotor – honestly, it was one of the highlights of my trip! The vibe at this place is just unbeatable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made it feel like one big family.
What really made the experience unforgettable were the pub crawls and boat parties – they were so much fun!

Location.
Creaky, rickety bed that shook all night due to 2 people having fun on the bunk below. The shower was also broken all evening and no pressure on the sink. Rooms are cramped and the kitchen facilities are dire.
When I explained the bed situation to the receptionist and asked to free cancel my upcoming short stay when returning from the National Park he said “why should I have to pay for your bad experience, we won’t free cancel and you should’ve read the hostel description. You can book elsewhere when you return if you want.” (which mentions nothing about it being a party hostel). They were nice enough when taking my money and completely defensive and accusatory as soon as I raised an issue.
Stayed for 2 nights prior in a wonderful hostel close to the bus station that had helpful staff, great amenities and let you pay with card. Would recommend that any day over this place.

The pool is a lovely oasis in the town. The activities organised by staff are great. Excellent location.
We paid a substantial amount for a private room in hostel, expecting it to be a lot better. There were no sheet blankets so we had to ask for some. It was very basic, the pillows and bed were a bit grim. Breakfast staff not the friendliest.

Friendly, helpful staff - thanks! Great location. We enjoyed the character of the old building. Enjoyed breakfast on the roof patio.
The common showers / toilets really needs some work. Even for a hostel, these are really basic. The kitchen also could use some love - it was a mess and the kettle was broken.

I had an amazing time at Old Town Hostel in Kotor! The atmosphere is super social and fun, perfect for solo travelers or anyone looking to meet new people. They organize awesome pub crawls, boat parties (honestly, the best I’ve ever been on), and even a sunset barbecue at an old fortress with stunning views over Kotor.
You can also get breakfast and dinner at the hostel, which is super convenient. The staff were all great, but I have to give a special shoutout to Fatih, the receptionist who also led our pub crawl—he’s full of energy and made everyone feel welcome.

Just the overall vibe of the hostel was fantastic
Maybe sweep under the beds a bit more often, that's about it.

The location is perfect; right in the heart of Old Town. The dorms are super clean, with lockers big enough to fit a person (not saying I tried). Each bed has privacy curtains, and yes, there’s even a pool! The staff who work during the day also handle the cleaning, and they’re always helpful when you need anything.
There are more activities than I can list here; this place is a real hostel, not just a place to sleep. Instead of wandering around looking for excitement, just stay here and let the fun come to you.
Special thanks to Fatih, Milan, and Sami... Each one adds something unique. Milan, the manager, deserves a shoutout not just for running the place, but for being violently passionate about cleanliness. If dust had legs, it would’ve run away in fear.
I’m genuinely glad I came here. <3
Pamela’s breakfast set the bar too high; now regular toast just makes me sad. And then there’s Fatih, the chaos conductor himself :) I thought I signed up for a quiet stay, but next thing I know I’m on a boat party wondering how I got handed a drink and a new group of best friends. Honestly, too much fun. Very irresponsible of them. 0/10 would recommend if you’re trying to live a boring life.

It’s in the middle of the old town (like the name says)
They have a really good concept and engagement with the guests. My highlight was the party boat they do offer for 15 euros, including three swim breaks (u don’t need to, if u don’t want)
The team members are very friendly, positiv and engaging.
It felt like the animation team of an all inclusive resort in a positive way. The owner is very professional and impressed me by knowing each guest by his name and having a small interaction with each one. Definitely worthy to stay here for 1-3 nights.
Recommend u to take the bus to the cities along the coast. It’s like 5-6 euros each trip.

I had an amazing time at Old Town Hostel! The breakfast was incredible — super tasty and only 5 Euros, which is such a cultural price. Big thanks to Pamela, the cook, for making every morning delicious!
Everything was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the staff made the whole experience unforgettable. Special thanks to the manager Milan for keeping everything running so smoothly, and to Fatih — he always brought the vibe up, was super funny, and made the drinking games and pub crawls unforgettable.
The sunset barbecue was absolutely amazing — delicious food, beautiful views, and great people. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good times and even better people!
