Peaceful and relaxing with few rooms

We had a great 5 night stay here in Ubud. It's off the main road so generally a lot more quiet with no scooters going by. The room is comfortable with a big bed, good AC and a decent fan. There's also a really nice balcony where you have breakfast each morning. The pool area is nice and we soaked in it once or twice. It's extremely cold, so nice after a hot day of walking around. The breakfast is decent and it's nice that it's brought up to your room each morning. Only once did they call us at 10 and ask if we had decided to not have breakfast, despite us placing our order the night before. They clearly lost it, so we had to wait until around 11 for food to come. It was hard to explain with the language barrier that we had ordered our breakfast the night before. There is a safe in the room which is also nice.

Just two things stand out. In the little cut out with the AC unit, there was definitely some sort of animal living in there. It would rustle around quite actively in the evening and overnight. If you value peace and quiet, this place may not be ideal for the next year or two. Next door, they are building some giant villa, so starting at 8:30 until sundown every single day there was loud construction. Metal grinding, hammering, etc. It did not stop at all. We were mostly out during the day so it didn't bother us too much but it's worth being aware of. One last thing, the whole property could benefit from another coat of paint and and a good clean. The bathroom and shower have these pebbles lining the shower which looks nice, but it definitely traps a tonne of bacteria and I imagine they are never cleaned. They smelled quite algae-ey. Despite this, we had a great stay and would probably stay here again.

Good stay, decent location!

The bathroom was nice and spacious, was nice to have both bathtub and stand up shower, both very big. The water pressure and heat was perfect. The staff was very very kind and attentive, called to my room and offered breakfast, brought and set up for me on the balcony. The location is generally good, the only down side is it being up a step hill and around the small walkway-this made me nervous taking bikes in the rain it’s very slippery. Almost zero construction noise tho, very relaxing. Bed and pillows comfy and clean!

Minutes the termites eating away at the tv stand in my room, found them all dead and swarmed on my luggage near by, because Ubud is more jungle there’s plenty of critters and geckos. Lots of ants and bugs. It’s generally clean but it I wished there was more detail to the clean seems like they swept the room onto the balcony and left the dirt and hair in corners and crannies.

Bliss Ubud Abangan is a great starting point for visiting temples and going on excursions around the area, the property

We stayed at Bliss Ubud and had a great experience. The location is perfect: just a short walk from Ubud’s main street yet away from traffic and noise. Breakfast was one of the highlights—colorful, plentiful, and truly satisfying. The staff were always friendly and helpful, available 24/7. Even though we didn’t use the pool, its scenic setting adds a luxurious touch to the place.

Our stay at Bliss Ubud was very pleasant, though there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The property is not directly accessible by car: taxis drop you off about 200–300 meters away, and the access road is not fully paved. It’s nothing major, but with a lot of luggage it can be a bit inconvenient. The room is spacious and comfortable, but it could be further improved with a fresh coat of paint.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel with delicious breakfast delivered to the room. Great locaton, central to Ubud and all the attractions whilst being quiet and hidden away from the crowds. All staff were extremely helpful

Absolutely fabulous accomodation, divine rooms and spacious private balcony. Location is excellent as you are a 5 min walk to the action but feel like you are in rural Bali at Bliss Ubud Abangan. Pool is superb and as it’s a small boutique hotel very quiet and private.

Very comfortable. Staff were accommodating and helpful and the room was nicely furnished. Balcony was good and breakfast served there was a bonus. Altogether an excellent stay, very quiet and centrally located.

Nice place in the center

We had a wonderful time in Bliss Ubud Abangan, staff very friendly and helpful, had amazing breakfast on our balcony ( vegan with avocado toast, indonesian with nasi goreng and continental/american with pancake or diff. eggs etc.) that you can order the evening before or when you wake up (from 7-10). Iphone map shows the place right, when you reach Lazy cats cafe and The Phaon, there will be a steep road, go about 20 meters and take the first alley to the left (by foot) . You pass Indahome, Soka and there will be the Bliss Abangan’s gate in a minute. First it sounds tricky (especially at night) but daytime you can’t miss it. Pool is perfect for a refresh after a day of walking (for it is cool, not for all day soaking) . Sunbeds (4) are just enough for this quick brake. We had room no6 and no4 on level 1 and 2, both facing the rice fields. Had no problem with bugs. Big bed, nice balcony, aircon great, bathroom with the bathtub is a perfection. If you are a bad sleeper bring eyemask for the curtain is not total blackout. The area is quiet yet close to everything. We had wonderful days in Ubud thanks to Bliss Abangan.

Little haven

It was in a prime location with the main attractions a short walk away… yet quiet. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly and welcoming! The breakfast was good and a great variety. It was a lovely small hotel with everything on your doorstep!

I paid more for the ‘rice terrace’ view from the bathtub but as the room was on the first floor, it was obstructed by the street. So we couldn’t enjoy as expected.

The location was fairly central in Ubud. Easy to walk to restaurants, markets and Palaces. Breakfast was good, facilities good and clean.

Not a fan of the mattress, which was a bit too firm for me. The pool was more decorative than functional.

A boutique, peaceful hotel with a beautifully presented garden and pool area, set back from the main road and a few minutes walk to the vibrant areas of Ubud. Delicious breakfast each day. Friendly and helpful staff. I also recommend this hotel as a safe and comfortable choice for a solo traveller.

Perfect stay in Ubud!

Small, intimate hotel in a great location, only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. It’s close enough to the main hub, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It’s a 10 minute walk to Ubud Palace, Ubud Water Palace and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. The Pura Dalem temple is also right opposite the street the hotel is on, they do the traditional Balinese fire dancing there which is recommend seeing. The staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Breakfast is included and there are a few set menus to choose from, you can either order the night before at your chosen time from reception or call in the morning half an hour before you want your breakfast, it’s then brought straight to your balcony! The breakfast was fantastic, a nice mix of fresh fruit, eggs, avocado, toast, croissants, jams and a smoothies depending on what you choose.

There’s not much to dislike about this hotel! My only thing would be to highlight that the balcony doors aren’t totally sealed, which may mean unwanted bugs find their way into your room. I’d recommend not leaving any open food or drink in the room. There is also a spa at their sister hotel which is a 10-15 minute ride around the corner. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to their facial, as the therapist didn’t speak great English I couldn’t work out what the products are. Would recommend checking all products used if you’re going to get any treatments there. The hotel is also down a small windy street off the main road, so you can’t get a taxi down there, only a motorbike, which can be difficult if you have lots of luggage.

The place is tranquil in every way. It is a small seven room, exquisite boutique hotel, which has in the centre a swimming pool, which is warm and surrounded by beautiful greenery and garden. If you want to tranquil , Peaceful then go to this place It is totally quiet and a long way away from noise.

Very noisy from other guests but this is of no fault of the hotel or the staff. When staying in such a small hotel people should be a little more mindful. Really have nothing else to fault - it’s a great place to stay.

Very happy with the room, comfy bed. The breakfast on our balcony was the charm, and nice bathroom too. Good location in Ubud. Staff are very friendly. I would book it again.

We did not used air conditioning is our room because it was smelling very strong and dirty, however the room also has a celling fan so it all worked at the end.
